As of right now, the "bee creek road" starting point is: 30.332171, -98.024536 (copy/paste into google). There should be a good meeting point about 15mins away from this starting point.



We should consider meeting earlier. I'd like to have some time to take video runs + pictures. First step is to find out EXACTLY how long the drive will be...

x2 Havok - you guys might just have to get up early for a change - if we wait till 3pm to do anything it will hardly be worth it for the people who only intend to stay for one day man.

Unless ya'll are going to "Splash town" or "Sea world" or whatever... I dont have that kinda dough to shell out. Gas is expensive enough

I'd have to say as far as meeting places, cruise routes, possible hotels for day 2 people, etc - you should handle that seeing as how you live there and know the area at least better than we all do. Not trying to sign you up for anything obviously but if your up to the task please do.
One of us trying to handle this from another city just provides a more than descent chance of fcuking things up and getting people lost.

That is why i'm not worried about missing this one

I'll take care of the cruise route, but cannot mess with hotels. Nailing the EXACT route through this hills will not be easy. I won't be able to stick around for day two and i have no idea where/what you guys are planning to do. I would maybe suggest looking about I-35 for a cheap place. Sorry, not trying to be an a** but i'm barely going to be able to make this meet, let alone arrange things. It takes a lot of work to keep a college GPA at 3.95

Btw, i think i was wrong about the bee creek enterance. That is another short(er) cruise. We actually enter around 620 & 1431.

Nah that's totally cool. I'm really thinking more like I'm gonna stay in NB or SA depending on what day two consists of anyway. All we really need out of you is what you're already doing - the meet up and cruise spot/cruise route. You seem to know where we're going so sounds good.

?!? Why did you do this? Just to make things more difficult and to have everybody have to stop by again? I say we stick with the old list and just move D-Man off. Much simpler and we won't be loosing anyone that way. WTF?

All you guys doin a day 2, get your plan together and post it, i may be able to swing by that one. (Remember, wedding on Saturday; dont flame me )

For what it's worth - I'm going to be there for sure. One thing you need to keep in mind is advice I always give people who start/plan meets: If 20 people say they will show up expect 10. If you get more it's gravy. If you expect all you are just setting yourself up to be let down.
Based on that you need to determine whether or not half the amount of people shown below is good enough to warrant your attendance.

Maybe we should setup a day two thing on Sun for folks that wanna keep the party going but still allowing the main event to be accessible to everyone? we can setup a hotel in Austin or New Braunfels depending on where we decide to go, Schlitterbahn or Sea World.

I forget whos suggestions those were - I'm down to play day two by ear cause I'm gonna hit up SA if all else fails so I'll need to be getting a room either there or in NB. Anybody know a cheap hotel on I-10 near SA?

Sounds perfect for either schlitterbahn or the autobahn [what I call I-35 cause for some reason I fail to see the speed limit signs on that particular stretch of highway ] the next day.
Anybody need me to bring any Turbo or other parts with me hit me up in PM and I'll get you hooked up either from my garage and/or the junkyards.

i believe the rate a night is about 87 bucks a night but im not sure, ill check later today when i pick up my car from the bodyshop
btw i35 is NOT a good place to speed in selma

The reason i said to start the roll call over again on this thread is so everyone call check back in. Last time we had like 5 people post they where coming and never posted again. Atleast this way we could start fresh, The Roll Call is not accurate if we dont get everyone to sign up here. But if you want to go off of a guess then we can try that. Im going to PM everyone on this list either today or tomorrow to make sure they see this list, but im keeping my own list and when this meet gets closer ill post it up and well see how many people are really going to go.

As for the time. I can get up earlier and head that way no prob, the only reason i was saying 3pm is because everyone agreed to it last time and it makes sure everyone gets there. So How about everyone plan to meet at 12pm?

Place, Is this road by Lake Travis?Bee Creek Rd, Spicewood, TX 78669, this is a address in the area im looking in or think you are talking about. From what im seeing on Google map this thing looks like its right off of I-71? am im Right Snap? if thats the case then we meet nere there. There are a crap tone of Golf Clubs out there. From what im seeing Houston guys I71 is right off of 290, so i think it woulfd be really easy for us to get to this road, but im not seeing anything other the Golf CLubs and open country for us to meet at. Wait. What about Gus Fruth Park? on the Google Map, From Bee Creek if you follow I- 71 down to 290 and then follow that to were 290 meets 360 there is a park to the right. If this is the area we are talking about what about this for a meet place?
