frown.gif I will never get a chance to meet Derrick. Ah, maybe if you guys have a meet up north (you are moving up north in Cali, right?) I can visit. For now though, I found out my stupid checks will start coming next week. I guess all things happen for a reason. So Christina is organizing meets in the future? That means she better be there, or she will be fired. LOL Well, have fun in my Holy name guys (WTF did I just say?! LOL). This blows........

you must mean another Christina, because I ain't organizing sh!t.

That would be great, cause all the NorCal guys are too lazy to drive down to SoCal laugh.gif . But, for reals, that would be nice if you guys could come up sometime! Most of the SoCal guys move up North anyways. I got a PM reply from Eurofire, and he can't make it to the meet. But guess why? Because he's up in NorCal right now hahaha. I don't really talk to many of the NorCal 6gc members. 6strngs is a pretty nice guy, but I believe he's selling his car. There are a few more up there, hopefully I will contact them when I am situated, but then again, I might just fall out of the whole 6gc scene completely. That does NOT mean I am selling my Celica though!

And Christina, organizing sucks, don't do it. Haha but if you still want to become organizer I will give you a few tips...

Notice: For every 5 cars you plan on attending, equals 1 week notification. Example. If you plan on it being a 5 car meet or less, then post a thread 1 week in advance. If you plan on 10 cars to be at the meet, then post 2 weeks in advance. 3 weeks for 15 cars and 4 weeks for 20 cars. This only goes up to one month, and then the ratio changes by 10%. Never give too much of a notice unless you have the time to keep everyone up to date, and keep interest in the meet. Only very large annual meets should be organized months in advance.

Details: Post all the information of the meet on the first page. Always update the first page! It doesn't matter if you don't do the activities listed. Don't worry about it and see what people want to do when they arrive.

Directions: Always post directions or an address and the time to be there.

PM: PM people! Get their information and make sure they have yours. Learn everyone's first name!

Bail Period: The 5 days before the meet are what I refer to as the "Bail Period". This is the time, were 15-20% of people on the "for sure" list will be dropping out. Please know that this is a common occurance, so don't be upset with any of the members for ditching.

Pictures: Always take pictures and open a new thread in the multimedia section. Make sure to post a link to the new thread at the end of the original Meet/Event thread. Random pictures are always the best.

That's about it. Just make sure to have a list hardcopy with everyone who is attending, and be sure to have their contact information on it. Wait for everyone to arrive and go from there. Be ready to be able to give directions to people to get home at the end of the meet or have someone who can. Bing bang boom done smile.gif.

Hey, I resent that! mad.gif I drive down to SoCal all the time! Probably more than I should, lol. My poor Celica...she's gonna hit the 200K mark in no time, and she's just 11 years old! Hmm...cars years are like dog years, 1 year to us is like 7 to them...that is unless you drive Toyotas, then it's like a 1 to 2 ratio laugh.gif

Hey man, remember Chino Hills? How many NorCal 6gc guys were there? How many? I think it was somewhere close to the 0 mark hahaha. I appreciate you driving all the way down here every month (even though it's just to go gambling) because you add to the fun times. What time should we be exspecting you at the meet tomorrow?

It's alright. As long as I get to spend a little time with you guys before I leave, then it's all cool. Now when I leave and don't talk to y'all anymore, you can't complain that I never gave you a chance to say goodbye laugh.gif .

Yeah, I would be down for that. So long as funds are in order, I have no problem. Besides, the norcal guys do more videos on youtube, so I will have something to watch when I get bored or when things are crappy and I wanna remember good times. LOL

LOL You funny. I thought I heard......... Nevermind. I rescued a little bird from the clutches of my cat last night. I am going to take him outside to teach him how to fly today. It is going to be fun. I think he can do it.

By "teach him how to fly", I hope you don't mean "throw him in the air and hope he does" and then take credit for the flying lessons.

Nah man, I took him out this morning and thought I was going to need to work with him, because he tried to fly in my room and couldn't so I placed him on something high and he flew onto the fence, sat around a bit, chirped and then flew off. It was kinda cool, but now I feel sad because the little birdy is gone now. frown.gif

I know this is going to sound like a stupid question, but do you know what kind of bird it was? Haha, you know what's funny? When I read "little bird", I read it like ninjai, the little ninja, haha. Idk if you've seen that animation before, but if you haven't I suggest you watch the series. Good job rescueing that bird from your cat. Is your cat still pissed at you about that btw?
