8" will fit but you will need to fabricate a bracket as you cannot use the OEM ones. Also, if you have deep speakers, you will need to cut into the door. I was lucky enough to have very shallow speakers, so I didn't have to. I've included pics to give you an idea. Forgive the ghetto-ness of MDF, dowels and hot glue, but it works just fine biggrin.gif

Damn - that's alot of work [very nice tho].
Here's my how-to on installing 6.5" speakers which are much easier to find and this process is free and super easy/quick:

what? the frunts are very deep, (maybe I cut my stock bracket but as far as what can go in there, few cars have as much room in the front doors as the celica does.

6.5 are pretty easy to put in, my 6.5" polk's I put in the back came with plastic spacers (universal adapters) that actualy fit the front for my kappa perfects no extra hardware requried was very lucky. otherwise a wooden ring works just fine. GTSowners braken is even better as long as its good and strong.

If you're using the stock plastic bracket, I imagine you'll be okay. I got actual 8" aftermarket speakers but the oems are like 7.5 so I was screwed.
