yeah im down but what time will yall be rolling out houston ?

The first caravan will leave by 9:00am from NW Houston [290/Beltway 8 roughly]. You and the guys from south Houston [The day sleepers] can always leave a little later.

I will be leaving houston around 7 because i will be dropping someone off in San antonio so i'll just meet yall in austin.

SnapshotGT will provide that info. I say we all just do what he says cause he knows the area. My vote goes to us meeting under that killer bridge he posted a pic of.

Yeah! Now that I'm gettin enough cashflow from the job, I can make up for the extra miles. Where do you want to meet up, your house at like 8:30??

Us day sleepers will be shooting for rolling out at noon. That would be me and Havok. If anyone wants to roll out of houston around that time let me or him know (havok's on more often than I) and we'll arrange a meeting place.

Completely off topic but does anyone here suffer from getting Lordi songs stuck in their head as badly as I do?

Was in the area of the hwy 360 lake austin bridge, so i took some pics with my cell. Parking could be an issue on saturday b/c this is also a popular boat launching spot on lake austin.

About meeting time: We all need to compromise about the time. Choose a time, place, and be there ready to shoot some pics and roll. Day sleepers might have to miss cruise out to marble falls. Remember, its a 45min drive back to austin as well.

i like that location! It would be really cool. I thought we were lesvin for that cruise much further down that road. But thanks for clearin that up

ok guys. me and Panda have been talking. You guys want to get there early so you can head out and drive out. Me and panda want to roll out at noon and we cant really afford to make a drive like that, as fun it would be, we can barely afford the gas to drive to Austin, but we are gonna for sure, no question about that. its really not that we are being lazy, we just really cant afford the gas, and for use to get up there early would be like asking you guys to get up at 1am to do this. So. here is what we propose.


For the people that want to get there early and do the driving around Marble Falls, go do that before the big meet and the photo shoot. So basically you guys get there and roll out for the big drive around noon. mean while me and Panda will be leaving to head to Austin. by the time we get there, you guys will be back at the bridge. Then we do the big meet and greet and photo shoot. This way me and Panda will not be holding anyone back for the drive, and we will be able to make it and meet everyone and take pictures and what not. So you guys get together and go driving around first then we have the meet and greet and photo shoot. Everyone follow me? What does everyone think?

That sounds like a plan. Lets all keep in mind though that this cruise is the main part of the meet.

We WILL have epic meet video after this. Winding roads, good scenery, celicas, st185s, swapped engines etc. Enough said. The earlier the cruise starts the better the chances i'll be there. Keeping my fingers crossed. I will know more as it gets closer.

Great compromise and ideas. SnapshotGT - I totally love the bridge idea. Maybe we should take day pics there for the 12:00 people and come back and meet everyone else there later for the big group photo? I still say we submit that for the Calander seeing as the Texas group is pretty new and we'll have most everyone together for the first time - just seems apprpriate for the calender to me.



Sounds right. Let's say 8:30 at the latest. I live on 290 at a freeway entrance so we'll jump on and head out from there. Plus I have a full service Celica garage so if anybody needs anything last minute we're good to roll.

Ok, if this is how we are doing this, and we are going to have this meet under a bridge then either we need an Address posted, or an address nere the bridge and directions from that spot to the bridge. Whos getting on this? Snap you got it?
