Anyone with a 5sfe manual parting out???
id love to get the complete wiring, sensors, and ecu atleast then I can source a motor from an engine importer if need be. I basically am selling off my 3s stuff because I dont plan on building my car anymore. BUT at the same time the 7afe in it is on its way out soon so ill be swapping a 5s since I have the mounts and tranny ready. Also, pressure2 I think I remember reading a post of yours saying there was a better year for the 5sfe because of the HG was metal??? whats the deal on that? Thanks for your help guys. heres a link to my FS/FT of my bumper and 3s crap. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=59874 This post has been edited by celicast3sgte: Jul 30, 2008 - 11:06 PM -------------------- 94' ST Coupe - 5sfe Motor swap and brake swap.

that would be the 98+ 5s' that came with the MLS headgasket.
i have a complete 5s setup, but its out of a 95 with a ton of miles on it. and shipping would prolly make it not worth it. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

actually, there is a difference between the ecu's of 96+. Therefore, the wiring will be different also just slightly, but enough to make it significant.
-------------------- You say you don't understand how we go dumb, but have you ever been where i'm from?

oh man, so would i be money ahead to just find a 94+ 5sfe and when/if i turbo to just buy the metal HG and swap it? im fairly mechanically inclined so its no biggie to do it. anybody have a 94+ GT engine harness and MANUAL ecu in good condition???
