i always hated doing "i'm new here" posts! i never know what to say, they seem awkward.
I came across the forums a few days ago and must say it is great! i love it!
A lot of good resources and people here it seems. I cant wait to start getting involved here!
Anyway, about me(and my car)
I'm a college student from The OR, i've had my celi for almost 2 years now.
I was majoring in CIS/network management but to be short, it bored me to death and i withdrew.
now i'm hoping between majors trying to figure all this out.. sure some of you have been there
anyway, back to stuff that matters...
I drive a 95' GT, liftback, 2.2, uh what other numbers matter? its got 115k miles(got it at 89k)
My celi's mod list is pretty short, kinda hard to get parts on my budget, but i'm working on it!
rims and tires, brakes, filter, amp/sub, pretty blue lights and some dash work.
the one thing i hate about my car is the fact that it has these annoying little door guard things all
the way around the car and make me feel like a grandma! but here's the kicker, when u take them
off they take the paint off of the car(if anyone knows how to get them off without taking paint off i will love you forever)!!
i figured this out when i got hit by some dumb chick in a parking lot and when i pop'd the thing off to pull the fender back to normal.
my car does need a paint job, but being broke puts that outa the picture till i talk to my body guy again.
thats about it for whats been my car has.... I'll post pictures when my camera gets back!
i do have plans for my car, alot of them hehehe.... of course!
coilovers, sways, strutbars, along with pulling out the backseats and doing custom carpet(or paint) all the way to the back
custom fiberglass sub boxes. even though i hate fiberglass work! and custom paint.
some day in the future i'll be doing a complete engine bay overhaul, V6 swap, and custom exhaust.
but those are way out in the future with my current fiscal situation.
thats about it...
i'm pretty laid back, love driving fast and racing(anything but nascar! i dont think i even spelled that right...)
if you wanna know anything more post or message me...
(if your wondering where the nickname aflacattack came from.. long story, girl called me aflac way back in middle school, nuff said)
anyway... just call me flac or something. and i am in no way, shape, or form connected to Aflac insurance company or relations...!
Peace,
Flac

it is a bit higher with the 17's then it was when i had the stock rims on it. I'm just debating if i should save up for coil overs or buy some springs as soon as i can. confused.gif

yeah its like 8 coats of color and 4 coats of clear coat hehehe.. i wanted to see what it looked like before i invested in a good metallic paint. i'm still between blue and a green like this laugh.gif(yes the color of the smiley)
i think i'm gonna stick with blue cause it goes with the interior already in the car better then the green would. but i need to get my exterior painted before i goto work on the interior with much detail.
and the gold badges came on the car, but when i paint my car i'm gonna remove the badges and and all the wording on the back but the gt and maybe celica and get weld over the holes. Also do away with that unsightly front license mount!

Move your rear celica badge to where your GT badge is.. import style

actually the reason the gear knob looks that way is cause its not a solid and hard surface.. you know what i mean?
i cant scratch the paint off of anything unless i use a screwdriver or something, but lol, i think you can take any paint off with that..
lol, no chips or scratches yet.
