Got round to making a video with the de-cat.

Doesn't really show how it sounds when you're driving, just how it sounds when you're revving to make videos really laugh.gif

It sounds a bit crappy when you're just revving like that, but when you're driving it sounds ace! Real growl around 2-3k revs, and approaching thunder at 6k biggrin.gif

and then there's the rally style popping you get sometimes when you lift off the throttle biggrin.gif

You're gunna go one way or another, what do you care? And rather than dogging on it, try something such as a compliment! They're normally accepted better than that crap you wrote

And here is stock standard (with pod filter) for comparison. Sounds very much the same but not as loud and a few sounds filtered out, also notice how my engine makes a slight stutter before it revs away from idle (normal) which isnt present in the decatted 3s-ge. EDIT: Playing both at the same time stock sounds deeper... hmm

I've heard the catalyst agents burn away after 100,000 kms leaving you with nothing but an extra exhaust restrictor which robs power.. anything that robs power also lowers fuel economy which in itself increases emissions since you have to make more power (ie, burning extra gas) to push the same road speeds.
