Pretty sure Busch didn't want this, just ended up losing controlling stake in the company. Hopefully they don't cut any jobs, the stock market just keeps sliding.

What? Does that mean they are gonna change the names of all their theatres yet again? First Verizon buys out all the good theatre/concert halls both in indoor and outdoor in Texas, then they change all their names to Verizon Wireless Theatre and now they'll probably change names again [creating more confusion when selecting a venue]

I dont know how you can stand Bud. I think its terrible. I cant stand Miller or Coors either.
I like anything imported, but I just realized Anheuser-Bush does make a few beers that I like....
Bass
Teqiza
Stella artois

besides those, I like..
yuengling lager
Corona
dos equis
Sam Adams Select
etc...

one of the great american companies going across that big lake. It seems everything is leaving us soil and being owned somewhere else.

Stella Artois is the beer made by the now-owners of BudWeiser.

Bud, Coors...those are used for beer pong & flip cup. If I'm at a bar its Corona light or liquor.

Damn, I wish I had money to use those for beerpong. Us college kids have to use good ole' keystone light.

But on any other night, it's all Guinness for me.

It was something like 53 billion they sold it for...crazy

Yeah honestly i dont HATE bud and diet Bud but it just happens 2 kinda give me a headache, but i perfer Miller Light and that Miller Chill is very good. Oh and i seen some nods to Sam Adams and Dos Equis aslo those are good. To me Corona has a terrible bitterness, i think Sol is a better beer.

First, let me say that the Budweiser Brewery that is 5 min from my current position, will (supposedly) Continue brewing the same crisp, clean & bold Referishment; that years of enjoyment have lead me to expect from the nations #1 premium alcoholic beverage. (or atleast that's what the Radio-Guy said.)

And i'm scared that they wont. frown.gif

You act as tho I'm the only one and there aren't entire civilizations known for Beer that also drink it at room temp.

Right, German thing; I know. But the American Civilization is known for drinkin' cold beer. Not that i complain at your place, i'm not going to let beer go un-drank, but it's so weird. Your the only person i know who does that... but that's probably what you say about me and my cold beer. biggrin.gif

[/off topic]

So does anyone expect to see the quality of Budweiser change? Has anyone drank beer from this other company? Is it good, complimenting or just plain suck?

I think the brewing process will all stay the same. They would be stupid to change anything about it. Whether any one of us likes it or dislikes it, it's still america's number one beer. I dont think that anything will drastically change.

Yes, but do you think the brew masters will be layed off, so that a new crew can take over? or are they keeping their KEY-employees? (yeah, of corse they'll keep the lower level people)

Also, will the brew masters be expected to taste for the same things? or will their focus be elsewhere?
