are you talking about a stock one? if not, then there are several 2 post spoilers that fit coupes/verts. Most common one used is the trd spoiler.

Didn't really think that far ahead. I guess primarily I wanted to know about stock, but if there are others that are not as exaggerated in their appearance, I would like to know about them. Actually, of the three that Cali posted pics of, I like the plain 2-post the best. The TRD one is a little over-the-top for my taste and the Supra one has a higher profile than I would like. The two-post has a cleaner look.

I have seen these or ones like them from various manufacturers and dealers, but they are always shown on a hatch. So I was not sure if any were made that fit the vert. That's the question.

Thanks. smile.gif

i those are the only spoilers available, except there is a trd wing that is even worst, and a 3 post stock.

hatchback spoilers are only made for hatchs

coupe and vert have the same trunk..

Just to add my two cents: the car with the two post spoiler in the first picture that ST Cali posted is actually my coupe, and it had that spoiler on it when I bought the car used this january. I believe it is a stock two post spoiler from our gen. hatchback celica. My spoiler was apparently modded to make it fit and there are holes cut through the trunk lid that are only visible when opening the trunk. From the outside it is very hard to tell that the spoiler isnt stock. I really like the clean look of my spoiler more than the stock coupe spoiler. As the spoiler was already on the car when I bought it, I have no idea how hard it would be to put a hatchback spoiler on a coupe.

Wings west also makes one called a mid wing its a nice two post....or you can do what I did which is get the stock 3 post wing for the coupe and remove the center post...it is held on by 4 Phillips screws

I have ran into the same problems that you have when i was trying to find a spoiler for my coupe. What i ended up doing was buying a three post spoiler then removeing the middle post. i am making a bracket to go where the middle post used to go so that it will be sealed up and look smooth smile.gif If you pick up a three post and decide to make it into a two post let me know and i'll hook you up with the little plate... I wish i had pics of it but i am waiting till it gets paited and put on my car...

Hope that helped

^^ I may go that route as well. I already have the 3-post on my car; I am just trying to find a bit different look. From what I saw in Daftboy's profile, removing the middle post makes a surprisingly dramatic change to the look. Besides, its easy and cheap. Kind of like how I prefer my women. laugh.gif

Thanks for the idea.

i tought about that too. but i wa afraid it would make the spoiler weak. idk, i dont want if breaking in 2 pieces. it will be a start tough.

btw, the vest has its own led tailight into the trim, but since my spoiler has taillight its not in use. how tacky will it be to have two center tailights?

Well, you don't have to look at it, so who cares? laugh.gif

I don't know - up until I actually checked mine I assumed that both were working anyway. I don't think it would look tacky, but maybe a little safety-overkill-ish(?).

As far as the spoiler breaking i think as long as you arent using it to sit on you sill be alright without the center post.

Two center brake lights isn't tacky, or over safteyfication...... its custom... laugh.gif But i was planning on leaving the one in my coupe alone and then removing the one from the spoiler and patching it...
