Right, German thing; I know. But the American Civilization is known for drinkin' cold beer. Not that i complain at your place, i'm not going to let beer go un-drank, but it's so weird. Your the only person i know who does that... but that's probably what you say about me and my cold beer. [/off topic] So does anyone expect to see the quality of Budweiser change? Has anyone drank beer from this other company? Is it good, complimenting or just plain suck? ok........WHAT!? You make my @ss itch. First. Its not just a German thing. Second, you guys have got to get away from the Bud. Try anything Fat Tire or if im not mistaken its New Belgian brand. And if thats who bought Budweiser then lets hope for a taste change. Bud is good for a GOOD game of Pong, if your just looking for drunk you can do Busch and Keystone if you want. but to me, that stuff isnt even drinkable. and Guinness is the best, pricy yes, but if your going to drink, do it right. Miller Chill is a fine LIGHT beer and corona and newcastle has always been bitter and i think about 1/3rd pf the people that drink either of those do it just bcuz think think this "cool" to have one in your have. But i do think the quality of Bud declining may be a real thing. I mean first time the company see a small hit in profits to either the USA (BUD) or belgian side of the company it will most likely do small cost saving things that effect the taste. ie maybe using cheaper hops or inferior barley. I think Bud uses 2 row malted barley but its more expensive. -------------------- Your signature is not allowed on 6GC - Defgeph

Oh that ram piss thing is from Beerfest, talk about a classic movie!!! Fat tire is good. So is guinness. But Sometime i feel like some imports are too heavy. Dont get me wrong they taste great just in the summer time when its 100 degrees out i want something a bit lighter and more refreshing you know? -------------------- Your signature is not allowed on 6GC - Defgeph

yah i do, trust me, Houston TX, Hello.........
But whats that old joke. What does Having sex in a boat and Budweiser have in common? To Fcuking close to water. If im going to drink Bud i might as well get a bottle of water, about the same price and its better for me. I like tasting my beer, i like full flavor. Bud is good for if you outside working in the heat and want to drink at the same time. Which is a bad idea anyways. if you want a good flavored but liter beer, Shiner is a good way to go, and Fat Tire isnt that bad on the full feeling either. You really need to try Mothership Wit from New belgiam. Its full flavor but not so bad on the heavy. |

I think we just did
All of these beers are fine [Even Coors and Old E] when compared to D-Man's fav: Lonestar. It's named for the state and even rabid Texas pride rednecks won't drink that [wait yes they do]. Coors has always reminded me of what budlight tastses like after tubing on the river and getting your can half filled with water. Friend of my Dad's owns a micro brewery just west of Denver that makes some good stuff too - forget the name tho. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. And when i go to the big clubs in Ibiza in a month i'll be paying $20 a drink. In fact i think there's actually a law against discounting alcohol here now... $20 per drink & laws aginst discounting. Doubble FTL. Sorry manphibian, no offense, but i hope you have one hell of a job that's just crazy! Got to give a shout out to the 40oz too! Olde English = smooth and gets you just the prefect amount of drunk. Great 40 to start the night with. St Ides = I dont know what they put in this stuff, but after you drink it, youll have balls of steel. Colt 45 = A classic. You get 45oz instead of 40 for the same price! Those 3 were the primary under age drink of choice in my teen years. Nothings better then walking into a ghetto convenience store with 3bucks and walking out without even getting carded! x2 all over this post! (Though we also drank schlizmalt, or however you spell it) ...you see me as more of a mix drink kinda guy?! X2 on that, no offense, you just seem like the kind of dude that drinks fruity cocktails and wines and such... IDK why; but we all get that impression. ok........WHAT!? You make my @ss itch. First. Its not just a German thing. Second, you guys have got to get away from the Bud. Try anything Fat Tire or if im not mistaken its New Belgian brand. WTF (I'm probably better off not knowing ) 2) The German thing, that's what Matt always tells me when i start whining. Then he says something like "Common, i'm drinking it, you just wanna leave it; and NOT drink the beer?" and i'm like "Na, it's cool, I'll drink it" B/C i dont wanna feel stupid, and then he'll say something like "Good, Than quit your B!tchin" 3) Fat-Tire is FTL. 4) Change the Taste of Bud? DEATH recently mentioned that you don't make changes to the World Best Selling ANYTHING!! there is a reason it's the King of Beers 5) Guinness IS good, but HIGH dollar. D-Man your killin me bro! Miller Chill is a fine LIGHT beer and corona and newcastle has always been bitter and i think about 1/3rd pf the people that drink either of those do it just bcuz think think this "cool" to have one in your have. No way, Corona Rocks the salt, Miller Chill Rocks the Sugar. But it's also to do with what you're doing at the time of drinking your beer. In my house, we eat alot of spanish style foods (if ya wanna call it that) really; we call it El Texadorian (i'm texan, Gal is Salvadorina) so Corona goes great with alot of our BBQ's. (like fajitas) But if I'm making Steak or something, Bud is the way to go. Likewise, if i'm not eating nothing, and just trying to "have a good time" at the house, then i'll drink lone-star or if i'm out at a bar, then it's all hard liquor Oh and when i am broke its a 40oz of the High Life FTW!!!! Only $1.67 WITH Tax at my local Ralph's!!! Broke & Drinking 40's after a bad day is FTW!! But again, im of the mind that if your not going to enjoy it, dont bother. But you enjoy "it" if "it" = Drunk All of these beers are fine [Even Coors and Old E] when compared to D-Man's fav: Lonestar. It's named for the state and even rabid Texas pride rednecks won't drink that [wait yes they do] Yeah, you almost forgot about this Rabid Texas Pride Redneck didn't ya I'm not even from Texas either Friend of my Dad's owns a micro brewery just west of Denver that makes some good stuff too - forget the name tho. !! Budweiser is a good "on a budget" beer. It taste ok, but not nearly as good as alot of other, more expensive beers. I'd much rather pay the extra for Fat Tire though.

when i turned 21 the bar i went to had no stone brewing co pruducts. so i went with fat tire. gotta say it was a mighty taste dark.
is it just me... or does guiness give off this bizarre soy sauce taste? i despise piss beers. miller, bud, coors... i dont descriminate. i hate all those fizzy yellow domestic companies evenly. stone brew co is san diego local... we're blessed with their greatest achievement... ARROGANT BASTARD ALE. its tasty if you like em dark. personally my favorites are red beers. nice and hoppy and flavorful. but not overbearing or too heavy like their dark brothers. im really impressed with sam adams line of beers. the oktoberfest was awesome |

And i have never tried Arrogant Bastard Ale but i have tried Bare Knuckle Stout which is the one Anniesher beer i will drink its just kinda hard 2 find. Also Miller light has a nice blend of taste but not being to watered down i think its a great balance. -------------------- Your signature is not allowed on 6GC - Defgeph
