LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...CHILDREN OF ALL AGES!
I now direct you to this thread. http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showto...394&hl=SRT4 You can only polish a turd so much... no matter how much or how hard u polish, its still a turd. edit: on a more serious note, I believe dodge did hit the nail on the head for there target group, ie inexpensive, above average performance, with modest looks. My issue with it that its still a dodge, and when was the last time u saw a dodge click over...115k miles without something breaking that cost you < $3k to repair? i dont think i have. Can we add Mazda3 and 6 (Speed) to list of D-bag drivers too? Every time I pull up next to one at a light, they rev to get my attention (which I don't respond to) and then floor it to "win" their 1 person race.

first off...the srt-4s arent they best looking cars in the world but IMO they are very sexy and i do like them....secondly the power they put to the ground is very respectable for the amount of $$ you are going to be putting into it....if it was me and i could get a srt4 with low miles for 10 grand i say go for it...they are very nice cars, lots of potential..and they haul a$$ hands down

lol, like i said they are okay fast, i dunno how many people out there that a stock/ stage1-2 srt4 is fast, i have gotten a ride in both, they felt normal nothing special, and i race one from a 40 roll, it was a stage 2 at 22psi, i started in 3rd, he was in second, up to 90ish, and i beat him by a car, o and btw i was only at 10 pounds, sad but true, i laughed at him, so i guess i was the d bag at the time, but i just want a newer, decent fast car for the money

There's this parts store where I live and when I used to get parts for my 92 Celica GT 5-speed...which was my WINTER CAR...the dude would always ask me about it and brag about his SRT-4...
DUDE, YOU WORK IN A PARTS STORE! Do you still live in your mother's basement to afford the payments?! I mean, seriously. The dude said he spend all his time and money on it...then what he told me he ran at the track it was embarrassing for him and me. and as far as the Viper...I've driven one...they have CRAPPY handling...you are better off driving a Hyundai Accent. -------------------- |

Vipers are notorious for being poor handlers IN THEIR CATEGORY.
But you spend a few more bills and you get the newer ACR Viper and you'll find handling has been much improved. |

But to compare its handling to a Hyundai is just wrong, lol. This post has been edited by bloodrain: Jul 18, 2008 - 8:41 AM -------------------- To live, is to suffer

any one here been in a fast SRT?? I doubted them too untill i went back to work. My manager has a 04 SRT4 with stage 3 package in it..315WHP at 20PSI, daily driven. Honestly, his SRT can run with my buddies R32 GTR no problem. They are decivingly fast cars if built properly. I got another buddy from school whos running a 500whp drag SRT. Runs 10s w/o spray.
Every one rags on them for being a neon, but its a neon that can blow the doors off any 6th gen. Sorry to say. Ive kinda relized after i stopped driving my celica, that yea the celica is nice looking, interior is very ergonomic and laid out nicely, handels well with some minor mods, but even though there are cars out there that dont look nearly as nice, sometimes you gotta get past the looks of the car. Personaly, I wouldnt buy one unless i got it for a smokin deal like my manager did ($14K cnd with 80xxxkm on it with all stock, stage 1, 2 sets of stage 2 parts, full stage 3, and 2 S10 beds full of spare stock parts), but i wouldnt put it past me to buy one. |

y u say that? i know street racing is bad, but come on who hasn't ever raced/ gone above the speed limit before I've never street raced before. To me its 110% pointless. Even if I lose, I will still say I won, and who would know the difference? And going over the speed limit is just a little less pointless. You risk getting a ticket, to save a few minutes on your drive? I dont know about you guys but I dont make enough money to justify getting a $65 speeding ticket to save 5 minutes of work time. -------------------- To live, is to suffer
