i wasn't sure if that was the original one since there was no vin/vehicle info plate on it. the only thing that i can see that i would need to replace that is broken is the head light on the passenger side, but the zip ties holding it in position are working just fine for now.

WINAR!!!!! you were the first to pick up on that. plus the fact that it means retard too since i have been legally diagnosed as down syndrome......lol (sarcasm for all that didn't pick up on it). thanks for the warm welcome, it has been nice hearing from a friendly community. i just hope that these forums don't go the way of the srt's forum or even worse, nasioc. its important to have a comfortable setting to share information without making someone feel stupid if they are genuine about wanting to learn. not everyone has had the oppritunity to go to school and work on cars professionally, so some of the knowledge they have may be limited or misguided. even though i work on cars as my day job, i don't know much about the celica quite yet, but i can tell you about partial load hoses on a c230 kompressor and many other things pertaining to mercedes cars.

the reason i say this is cause i get a good vibe from this forum and wanted to let you guys know that its good and not to tamper with the formula. once again to all, thanks for the warm welcome, i look forward to discussing many things in the future with you and possibly meeting some of you off here if we can get a meet started down in orange county, ca.

Heck yeah! I am down to meet up. I hear a month or so we might be considering meeting up. Do you think that is enough time for you to set up some time for a meet?

yep, thats plenty of time. where were people thinking of meeting up? also have people thought of doing a bi weekly meet? when i had my srt there were weekly meets i would go to and it was quite a bit of fun. i would say find a place where there is a place to get food nearby. we used to meet up in a costco parking lot and get pizza and a soda for like $4.

Dude! Costco pwns! That is not a bad idea actually. Tell you what, I am going to private message you a better way to keep in touch and you can add other guys from here that reside in SoCal. I am sure we can arrange something. I live like 1 1/2 away from the Los Angeles area, so for Bi-Weekly, I may or may not be able to do that. But every so many months, for sure!

SO DOES MINE BITCH! It *seriously* just started working again. Very random, but hopefully it'll stay this way. Same deal with the right window.

i wonder if a relay might be going bad or if the motor is on its last leg. i'd check a wiring diagram to see if the window and sunroof share a relay or ground wire. could be something related, or could also be coincidental.

I'm not technical enough to do that, I'm just gonna take it to this guy I know...coincidentally, it started working again when moms filled me up with a full tank after 900 miles of just throwing in 10 bucks at a time. I told her she should do that more often. laugh.gif

your car must like your mom or something. sounds like you have quite the electrical project to have checked out. hope it all goes well. i know i'll have fun figuring out the clifford car alarm system since i guess the door locks freak out when the battery is in the key remote. i was told that clifford has a lifetime warranty on their alarms, so i'll look into that before i tear it apart. i've also thought about getting another alarm since i don't know whats going on with the one the car came with when i bought it.
