I am importing my GT four into North America next year as it will then be fifteen years old, depending on the production figures I may be able to insure it on collector plates which will reduce the cost of my insurance, anyone help?

They made 16105 ST205's of which 2500 wee the WRC version.
Most of the production prior to May 1994 were WRC versions.

I own WRC number 109, we have a 10 year rule in the UK.
Does the 15 year rule not apply to USA?

Hahaha I love the 15 year rule. If I get enough money I can buy a winter beater Skyline GT-R smile.gif

I bet I would REALLY get on a lot of people's bad sides if I had a GT-R as my winter car.

Im importing my GT Four to Vancouver Canada not to cold here about same as UK, I moved here from the UK 12 months ago, the 15 year rule applies here, and as it was previously owned no taxes or duties just have to pay for shipping, currently its residing in storage in the UK and I will be importing next year, I have owned it since it was a year old and is a European spec model only 239hp has done only 40k miles, thanks for the information regarding the production numbers but unfortuately for collector plates it has to be 1500 vehicles per model year just trying to save on insurance as its so expensive here in comparison with the UK, thats ICBC for you.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

In NZ we have a 10 year rule (no new cars imported over 10 years old) so 2008 no <1998, 1999 was the last year for ST205, but we still have a few in our country for sale low km/stock etc

We seem to have that the wrong way round compared to other countries.

What do you want to pay?

Where I live (Montreal Canada), JDMSkylines sells me a ST205 for $9,000 nego depending on if the car is in good shape or have dents & scratches... or if its tuned / modded

They all have around 80,000 to 120,000 kms

But they are RHD, not LHD.

I'd kill for a LHD.

Any trouble with u'r ex?
