I'm partial to 7G's, but honestly, you just can't beat the looks of a 6G. IDK why, but I love it.

Awesome.
I had a 7G'er at a stop light rub his fingers and thumb together
like, "Wanna sell her?"...Needless to say, I shook my head in the
"absolutely not" fashion...but gave him the thumbs up.

its nice when people show a little respect like that, it doesnt take much and makes you feel pretty good too.

Yeah, i've been driving down the freeway and a tricked-ass 7th gen passed me up, hit his breaks and slowed down and drove next to me till i exited the freeway. as i exited he just changed back into the fast lane and hauled ass. It was cool b/c he didn't rev or anything. just hung out with me for a little bit smile.gif

yeah, i know that feeling, and it's pretty cool. I wanted to wave him to follow and have a beer with me biggrin.gif Hell, i just wanted to check that 7th gen a bit. And he was even ridding on my bad side (with the multi-color fender kindasad.gif , but he never reved up or started acting dumb. Just took a second and "walked" with me. smile.gif He was speeding up intill he saw me (may about 80-85) and i was rollin the speedlimit (70MPH) and he slowed down and just hung out with me.

And i'm known for doing the same stuff. There is another celica that i ride with about 2-3 times a week. a neat little white 6th gen. I gave her a thumbs-up the otherday, and we'll usualy ride behind one-another and help each-other to weave thru trafic. (not crazy weave, but houston traffic is INSANE!) It's a younger girl that drives it, and she's always (seemingly) happy to see me. laugh.gif Maybe i'm wrong and she hates my guts, but i sure feel like i have "Traffic-Friends" laugh.gif

Yeah, try making friends with a kid driving a civic that snaps left and leaves you like 30 feet to the back end of a mustang thats at a dead stop when the light is go. Thanks civic guy! Woulda been nice to tap the brakes or something, give me a heads up....anything. Yeah but I know what you mean by seeing other celis and getting that nod or wave. Dont see too many 6gens in my spot of Ft Worth, keep seeing one at best buy in benbrook though..whats up. And saw my first gen celi today on base. Pretty well kept, could be a real nice looking car with some work.

I agree with the street racing thing but I wasnt the one racing anyone, I was just going home after a long day of working in the Tajas sun. Its all fun till you smack into someone. I think itd be a big pain for me, insurance, cops, family and then my LPO's would get in on the fun. And now I get to go back out, probly get stuck behind someone driving 45 in a 60...god I love Ft Worth drivers (im sure that dosent apply to everyone, but it seems like it). Too slow or too erratic, its great! Didnt mean to vent on your thread, maybe I'll see that supra thats been haunting everyone here?
