hey guys im trying to remove my stock side skirt and im having the hardest time getting them off. there are some plastic taps on the bottem which look to me that u should pop out the center and then remove them. but when i try to do this the tabs break and i dont know what im doing wrong. i went to go put on my fenders this weekend but because i couldnt take off my side skirts i couldnt and it totally bummed me out this weekend. does any one knwo how to do this?? i checked the how to's and also used the search but i guess im doing somethign wrong any help woudl be great thx all-

ne one at all i dont wanna break these to take the skirts off cause i cant find a product code to reorder >_< so has anyone taken these off and how did u do it

Are the backs of the tabs pinchy? Like you have to pinch them before you pull them through the hole? Worst case you can always replace the tabs.

Got a pic? If they're round like "fake nails", you pull the outside edge out and then pull the center dot out.

no its a lot bigger that that id say at least as big as a silver dolar ill have to wait and ssee if i can squeeze a camera down there and take a pic but theres nothing to squeeze or ne thing it looks like its supposed to be pried out but i tried that and kinda snapped a tap and stopped i didnt wanna hurt them any more and i would juystr replace them if i could find a part number make my life easy lol

i still havent been able to release them and im pretty sure thats what they look like its been a few weeks but yeah how do we release them i wanna get my front end on and these are holding me back and i dont want to break them >_< if i cant save them any one know the partnumber so i can hit my toyota dealership?

pop off the center and then pry the sides of the taps.

i know what you mean... i had to remove mine a few times and these tabs get harder to remove every time.
you'd be lucky to remove yours without damaging a single one because the edges around the center where you pry will bend. just pull it off with any means necessary even if you break the tabs.. if you can't get that center out then that would be your only option.
part numbers are located in the sideskirt sticky if you need to order some (sry too lazy to go search & copy paste).

hahaha after 2 months of not working im actually supposed to work this week on it tongue.gif but with not doing ne thign on the car ive saved up alot of money for other things hehehe and im also considering changeing my color scheme
