try launching at 3000rpm to avoid all that wheel spin, that should help u alot. i have similar problems with my car but i still managed to keep a type r with jackson racing supercharger and slicks at bay. i plan on getting slicks and an lsd then raising my boost to 17psi.

yeah i asked you to help me out but you didnt want to. I still have my manual. All i need is some help to be walked through it. And some explanations too. I know you or someone just giving me the settings is the easy way out, but I will also be asking my "WHY" questions in case something goes wrong. But I'll try again to read that damn manual.

I actually got the 14.2 from launching at about 3100rpm's so that did help.

there are two ways to solve the problem

get an lsd

or

use that 226whp to pass the other guy after you let them get a little bit ahead.

but seriously, just practice. its hard to go from ~95 whp to 226whp

whats even harder is going from 200 hp to 100 hp....i miss my tacoma v6 std cab! I wish i could have that engine with a super in my car right now!

... and for the mean time you can just start in 2nd..

Someone else told me to do that. I'm not sure how to do that. I know i can take off in 2nd if I'm driving on the street but how do i do that when I'm racing?

And yes from what i hear upgrading my suspension will help also.

yeah david, just work on your launch.

I'll go out there with you soon . biggrin.gif

oh, and i got a chance to see David's car in person and OMFG. His car is SICK.

TRY DRIVING THAT SUCKER! David's car is very very good looking, even though its beat to hell, lots of scratches, tape over the holes where the wing use to be, and the GT4 hood and bumper are only primered black... it still manages to look awesome! And driving it... there really is not a way to explain it! I love driving my celi, but adding 120hp to that is just amazing!
