Most everything I've done is wet layup all "brush" work.
That CF deck lid for the 6th gen coupe was the first piece i ever did. The work was ok. I could do it much better now.

I have a rear diffuser for a E46 3-series on my desk right now that needs to be finished for the weekend so pics of that will be up soon.
and i keep promising 6gc door work, but I haven't had a lot of time so maybe if i'm lucky this weekend i'll get some work done.

I have ventured into some minor bag work though.

Air Suspension? Fun stuff. Best on small trucks, but fun for cars too tongue.gif

I gotta make a fiberglass one first to see if i can do it.

a CF hood would be very expensive. the cost wouldn't justify your use. If you want you could wrap part/all of your OEM hood, if there is a CF sheet large enough

^x2

You can get a 4'2" (about) x W/e yardage you wanna buy from here
http://www.fibreglast.com/showproducts-cat...20Tapes-15.html

That'd be close, but maybe a 50" and 2 yards long would handle the job. Maybe. I've never measured our hoods.

3K, 2 x 2 Twill Weave Carbon Fiber Fabric is what you want
