cant you use photobucket??? it'll just resize it automatically for viewing. oh i sent mines in. the 14-1 pic from the poll thread. i did some final editing and yes i did take out the "entrance" sign

i just thought of place to take a couple shots. if it is decent out 2moro i will go out and snap a few pics and then edit them, hopefully they turnout ok

guys. Looks like this WILL NOT be happening unless someone takes over now and everyone re-sends their pics to them.

the aptly named BloodystupidDavey hasn't responded to PMs and hasn't been on since August 5th. What a guy.

So i guess we need a volunteer to take this over pretty quickly if you want it to happen....

Hi Guys,

Sorry I haven't been around for a while - been very busy with work. For those of you in the Technology business you'll probably recognise the terms IFA and IBC as trade exhibitions that take up way too much time

Unfortunately, I have received very few submissions (I think 8 so far). Unless this changes in the next few days, I really don't see the calendar happening this year. I'll put all the submissions so far up on a server so we at least have a start on the 2010 calendar.

I think someone like griffgirl needs to start this completely over.

so should i not send mine in? i did it last minute b/c i wasnt sure when i was getting my slave flashes. if this is being "extended" i will just submit better pics

Agreed, nothing against davey, I understand people get busy. I would just like to
see someone doing this that is on more than once a month. The whole non coomer
approved thing bothers me still and I am sure it will be the same this year, as he is
on less than davey. I personally think if someone can make this happen its griff.

well then im off to get some shots of my vert, still need to know who to send them to though, and DEATH, can i maybe submit one of the GT2 and IF it makes it we can put ( Owner-DEATH, Photo By-95celgt) or something like that...

Sure, (as long as you know who's car it is, Legit94GT) and they aren't planning to submit their own pic of their car.

I just can not believe that... I just can not believe there are not at least 12 good pics for calendar across whole 6gc.net! I know there are a lot of beautiful celicas around and a lot of very good photographers...

note: please before you give that up let's ask GriffGirl... I believe she can handle that

You are kidding, right? Pretty much every photo you've posted in the other thread this year is awesome. Just submit one of those.

Thanks, I am not so happy with most of my efforts so far with my canon but I am learning.
Sadly almost all of the high res shots I have taken are gone due to an unfortunate
hard drive crash. The older stuff from my sony I still have but they are not even
close to the res requirements. I'll try to get something to you in the next few days.

I'm more than happy to pick this up if Davey is too slammed with work and what-not. I'll need to dig around a little on line to find the best deal/way to get these printed, but I can totally do this, no problem.

BSD- I'll wait to hear back from you as to whether you'd like to hand this off or not. I certainly don't want to step on your toes, since you picked up the project this year of course. Let me know how you'd like to proceed.

Also - any mods reading this - if I do pick this up, I'd please like permission to use the 6gc logo! Christian is hard to get a hold of so I'm hoping one of you other guys sees this! Please PM me.

I sent a winter shot to Davey. If someone else is going to be doing the calender, I'll send it to them for consideration. I might do a bit of photo-chopping to clean it up a bit, but who knows if it's actually going to happen. It's basically the larger version of my Sig.

i sent mine sunday.., although id like to make a poll that will help me choose the best pic for a possible-resubmission,,

so r we allows 2 touch up photos using photoshop? or will all that be done after they are chosen? cuz my photo taking skills suck and kinda need some touching up
