Those are fine questions. Unfortunately I can't answer either one, as my familiarity with the tC stock head units is fairly limited. I know a couple of people on here have installed them in their cars - IIRC you may have to trim the very sides of the trim slightly to get a flush fit. I'll see if I can't find the thread I saw on it and post a link to it.
As to whether there were two models, I don't know the answer to that for certain. As far as I know there was only one, but I'll google it and see if I can't verify that. I'm also working on getting pictures to post up. -------------------- |

If it's the top one that Culpable posted, I have that one. It's a great radio, much more powerful than the lower model aftermarket radios, while giving you the look of a factory radio. You can even buy an adapter on Ebay that plugs in the back for an iPod (if you have that model) that costs about $70, or a plain aux for $30. It will read MP3/WMA/AAC CD's as well.

Dude, I have no idea to be honest. Orange probably, I believe that's standard. Output? IDK, whatever is standard on these too, likely 45 or 50x4. Sorry, wish I could tell you more. I bet Death would know the answer.

Well because my gal keeps busting up hers... and now it's just in rabbid shape, so if ya'll can sell to me for cheaper than buying an A/M head unit... The girl don't care about it, and she don't take care of her car; so i will be getting her the cheapest thing i can find. Dont get me wrong, i love her to death, but i will not spend alot of money on features that she wont use, and a deck that she'll just destroy. AM FM CD is all i need. Keep in mind that i'll let you decide a price, but you might conciter low-balling me... i really am looking for the lowest priced head unit right now. But atleast it's an offer.
Do you have the harness for it? or will i have to buy that from dealership? -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! No, no harness for it, the car it came out of kept its harness for the aftermarket stereo put in its place. I'll see if I can get a harness for it, that actually might not be too hard, and that eliminates the dealership need.
If you're looking to go super cheap, this probably isn't your best option considering you can get super cheap stuff from your favorite, Wal-Mart, for like forty bucks. I'm not looking to get rich off this or anything, but I'm not giving it away either. I'd like to get about $100 for it. -------------------- |

This will plug directly into our stock celicas wiring harness. You will have the trim the crap out of the dash surround though with a dremel. Can be a pain in the butt but the stereo does sound pretty nice
