So I was trying to plug in a radar detector today and i realized that my cigarette lighter doesnt work!(isnt my car great?)

Its definitely not a fuse though because i checked all of them..

help?

there are a few things to check if its not a fuse have you got power to tha cig lighter ie 12volt have you got a earth and iirc the clighter itelf has a fuse intergrated in the wiring where it connects

Dumb question, but was your key on when you tried this? The lighters don't work with the key off.

Yea I went to the junkyard and got a one for 5 bucks...works fine now
