You are brave in regards to your questions. Yes, us 240sx does have conversions for Silvia. Personally, I like the 240sx us version over the S14, but love the S13 and S15 models. You can go to 240sx club (Do a search for the online community, I was once a member until I was forced to part with my 240sx after the engine blown) and join up the community site to learn more information.

It's one of the hottest cars ever.
how to obtain one, 1) find seller 2) give the dude some cash 3) drive off 4) ???? 5) profit. This would be good if the S15 Silvia ever made it to the states. -------------------- |

s15 = sexy!!!
If I could get one I would. They will run you a pretty penny though. I like the s14 as well and it would be much cheaper to acquire one. You just need to buy a 240sx and do a front end conversion. Looks amazing. Like mentioned though you can get a kit to put an s15 front end on a 240sx s14. -------------------- |

Looks better on a 97-98 240sx I think, but then again those are hard to find. 97 was mostly all called back and good luck finding a 98'. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

WRONG haha there ARE some s15's here, were they imported legaly?? prolly not, but there was 1 in town here a wile back that a guy i knew had, it was a pearl white Spec-S, With everything from the spec-R minus turbo.......prolly one of the hottest jap imports but if you want power your gonna have to drop an RB in it.
I got to ride shotgun once in it, and even though it was N/A it was a fun car and it felt scary being a passenger on the left side LMAO! |

they're legal if you claim them as a drive-train delete. Take the drivetrain out, ship the chassis and the drivetrain over, reassemble and claim it as a "kit car".
The SR20 that comes with the S15 will make enough power, no need to go RB. This is a light RWD car so you don't want to give it too much power, it would practically be undrivable. The SR20DET should be good to put down about 400hp with bolt on upgrades. I love the Silvia however the cost of importing one might not be worth it. There are rumors circulating of a new Nissan RWD car to basically fill the gap that was left when the Silvia was axed. I am not too sure what its status is though, last time I checked everyone was talking about a RWD concept. There might be more info floating around now. -------------------- (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny. Copy and paste bunny into your (")_(") signature to help him gain world domination. |
