Really? Didnt like the look, or is a performance issue? How does a TRD filter compare to say a K&N?

Really? Didnt like the look, or is a performance issue? How does a TRD filter compare to say a K&N? From my experiences with a short ram as opposed to a stock intake, it's WAY louder (almost annoying), and not nearly as much pull on top end. And with what I've heard, the TRD is a rebadged K&N. -Matt |

The K&N drop in's are cheaper, and the same thing. Here is a link to one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062YIKK
But I'll personally be going with the Amsoil drop in: http://www.amsoil.com/catalog.aspx?code=EAA205-EA, it cost $34 from their website. -Matt This post has been edited by GotToyota: Sep 16, 2008 - 6:27 PM |

K&N FilterOk, or this K&N Filter (p/n 33-2052) for 42 and change. Its a bit cheaper, but I guess its all on what you want to go for as far as name goes.
