okay everyone im having troubles on deciding what i should do next to my gt?!? im basically looking for something to do to her thats not really all that expensive lets say around the 400$$ range? haha

here is what all is done to her:
short ram air intake
exhaust header
exedy stage 2 racing clutch
fidanza flywheel
kenwood stereo
kenwood 5-ways

everything that i have ready to put on her:
01' gts rims
hks hi-power silent exhaust cat-back
APC perfect shift tachometer

and here she is:

i am open to any ideas (performance, exterior styling, interior styling, and what not)

Tint the windows (if you like that)
Clear front side markers
Clear front turns
or
you could tint the front turns, side markers & tails like in my profile.

You should be able to do all that for under $400 and it will make a nice difference.

Looks good! thumbsup.gif

I would start with cheap/free mods first.

1. get rid of the lime green. Go with a black spray paint or something. Something other than lime green.
2. pull out the reflective lining under the hood. You're not making heat anywhere near the point of it melting your hood or screwing with your paint.
3. Take the $400 and put it towards Tein s-techs and KYB GR2 struts.
4. Craigslist that tach. Are you a ricer? Do you, or will you ever need RPM's over your OEM tachometer? Or are you legally blind and need numbers that big?

haha well the reason for the lime green is because i was going to paint my car black and get some rota p1 rims with a lime green lip
also yeah that was on there when i bought the car lol so i am planning on removing that eventually haha
hmmm i was looking into some of those but i really do not know too much about suspension so i was kinda etchy on it
also the tach was from a guy down the street who has a sleeper wrx sti and the reasons for me keeping it is because it lights up for perfect shifting

suspension

X11111111billion.

its not enough for everything, but it will get you all 4 struts and inserts, and part of the way to springs.

sell the tach, and buy some color other than lime green for the engine bay.

or spend it on tuning up and fixing/replacing broken things

ie:
get rid of the junk aftermarket wires, and get a set of OEM wires, do the distributor cap and rotor while your at it (OEM again) and plugs too.
thats ~80$ or so, get a GOOD filter, flush your brake and clutch master cylinders, flush your radiator, and on and on...lol
your car will run better, feel better and get better gas milage than it has in a long time, i garantee it.

Why do something so expensive and with such little return? When I do something to my car I do it so that I can enjoy it. Not bondo two holes for others, you know?

with 400 dollars, no matter what you do, its gonna have very little return

with that amount of money i would just work at making it look cleaner, or save up more towards getting an engine swap

thats just my couple of pennies

btw, you dont use bondo on polyurethane
