Alot of things on this post are "not exactly" correct either, like number six for instance, Swahili is based of of Arabic. His name is Swahili. The translation for "blessed" in Arabic is Mubarak. Barack's name is clearly not Mubarak.

Secondly, it is the Qur’an. And it is misspelled a number of times in this post. This post is so ignorant. And I must ask what is so wrong if Barack did follow the Islamic faith? Whats wrong with the Islamic faith on the whole?
[/quote]
nothing is wrong about the islamic faith the radical islamic faith is what i and muslim people have a problem with
he is trying to deny it like it never happened
and is name IS arabic
http://www.babylon.com/definition/Barakah/
sorry i didnt run a spell check before i posted but it obviously wasnt that bad cause you still understood what was typed

THANK YOU FOR THAT EYE OPENING perspective! dont get me wrong...I AM EYBALLNG BOTH OF THEM...with more scrutiny as of late. i cant wait for the elections...but even though all of this (above) is interesting...ive had enough of 8 years of republicans...last i checked when democrats were in office for 8 years. things were actually pretty decent.

coincidence? NO.

i like mccain... i really do. but its time for another perspective.

that made no sense at all?

if john miccane gets elected hes bound to die in office....get it...hes really old....

this has to be the most ignorant post i have seen in a while.

oh and jester, have you ever thought to think that it may not matter who he worships or where he is from? obama has a wide range of great things to bring to this country. race and religion preference shouldnt matter when voting on a government leader

yea it doesnt matter who he worships but i may be different than most people but i dont trust a man that leads one life and shows another
and i certantly am not voting for a man who has no where close to the experience it takes to be a president no matter what religon or ethnicity he or she is

what do you guys think of palin? im not impressed at all....

here is an interesting email i found. im researching now. SURELY mccain has done MORE. this is a bit biased.

If You were The Boss... which team would you hire?

With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc. etc., this is an unusually critical election year.

Let's look at the educational background of the candidates and see what they bring to the job:

Obama:
Occidental College - Two years.
Columbia University - B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude

& Biden:
University of Delaware - B.A. in history and B.A. in political science.
Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)

vs.

McCain:
United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 out of 899 (meaning that, like George Bush, McCain was at the bottom of his class)

Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester

I don't know if anyone's mentioned Obama's anti 2nd amendment standpoint because i'm too lazy to go through 6 pages of posts, but here it goes. He's basically controlled by anti-gun corporations and if elected - will (attempt to) destroy second amendment rights in the US, not to mention his impact on United Nations and a world wide handgun ban. He's supported some of the most outrageous anti-gun bills seen thus far. I personally am an avid gun enthusiast at the age of 21. I have a decent collection thus far, and am a liscenced concealed carry permit holder in my state. I like to believe the government wouldn't let constitutional rights go out the window, but if Obama is elected - i have my doubts. I don't see how any educated patriotic american could cast a vote for this guy frown.gif

As far as the race issue. its unfortunate that people arent voting for him because hes of a darker skin tone, but then again its the same for people who are voting for him because he is black (but over 200 YEARS IN CAPTIVITY WILL put a bad taste in some peoples mouth) not to mention YEARS of not beign able to vote, being able to be HUNG AND sometimes CASTRATED LEGALLY no longer than 60 years ago.... (ask an older african american if you think im exaggerating) but thats besides the point.

republicans controlled things for EIGHT YEARS..... GEORGE BUSH GOT PEOPLE TO VOTE FOR HIM FOR THE SAME PETTY REASONS PEOPLE ARE VOTING FOR MCCAIN RIGHT NOW (his judgement is PROVEN to be off...look at his VP choice)

IT BASICALLY BOILS DOWN TO THIS....

MORE OF THE SAME BULLSH!T FOR ANOTHER 4 YEARS..... VOTE MCCAIN.

MAKING A CHANCE ON SOMEONE WHO CAN TALK A GOOD GAME....VOTE OBAMA....

I would rather take my chance at least on someone who knows what its like to have a rough up bringing (being bi-racial in teh 60's =REAL DIFFICULT TIME) to be poor and can be in a position to EMPATHIZE. rather than our buddy mccain. BOTH are politicians=LIARS but ive seen what mccains buddies have done.

Barak Obama is a socialist. I despise so many of his views. Everyone is on his nuts because he's a minority and a liberal. No offense. Let him make our price of living sky rocket. Let him take away our constitutional rights. Let him cut back our military spending. We'll see what good that does.

This is the point of view that infuriates me. "Let's vote for Obama because he's black, just like us."

I can guarantee that MANY of the black population are voting on that note alone, and will not care to look at any of the real issues or even consider McCain.

EDIT: Everyone should hold off making a decision until the presidential debates occur, then, and only then, will I make my choice.

akimbo...buddy.... our cost of living is already up there!

and who makes and passes the buget and controls the spending?? the democratic controlled house and senate
remember when the economy was sooo good while clinton was in office? you can thank the rebublicans and bob dole and newt gengrich for shoving the budget down clintons throat
at least with a republican president in office some of these things can get vetoed out and not screw the economy even more than the democrats have already done in just the past 4 years
and in response to him being black
his name is Arabic and 'Baraka' (from which Barack came) means 'blessed' in that language.
Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama. Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President.
Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.
While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs..
Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro).

sorry mccain wasnt in a dorm room for 4 years that his rich parents were paying for
he was too busy fighting for our country
McCain graduated from the Naval Academy at Annapolis in 1958. He also graduated from flight school in 1960.

With the outbreak of the Vietnam War, McCain volunteered for combat duty and began flying carrier-based attack planes on low-altitude bombing runs against the North Vietnamese. He escaped serious injury on July 29, 1967, when his A-4 Skyhawk plane was accidentally shot by a missile on board the USS Forestal, causing explosions and fires that killed 134.

On October 26, 1967, during his 23rd air mission, McCain´s plane was shot down during a bombing run over the North Vietnamese capital of Hanoi. He broke both arms and one leg during the ensuing crash. McCain was moved to Hoa Loa prison, nicknamed the “Hanoi Hilton,” on December 9, 1969.

His captors soon learned he was the son of a high-ranking officer in the U.S. Navy and repeatedly offered him early release, but McCain refused, not wanting to violate the military code of conduct and knowing that the North Vietnamese would use his release as a powerful piece of propaganda.

McCain eventually spent five and a half years in various prison camps, three and a half of those in solitary confinement, and was repeatedly beaten and tortured before he was finally released, along with other American POWs, on March 14, 1973, less than two months after the Vietnam cease fire went into effect. McCain earned the Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Distinguished Flying Cross.

i can trust that man to run my country
