Hey Guys,

So i've been on the boards for a few months now but thought I would formally introduce my Celica to you, share my project ideas and get your input.

I have a 1999 Celica ST in Silver (UK Spec) and whereever possible I want to use Toyota or Toyota approved components to keep that OEM look. The Gen6 Celica is one of the few cars where I think Toyota actually got the styling spot on.

So here are my plans:

Exterior
----------------------
OEM Side Skirts
SS-III Front and Rear Splitters
JDM Rear Lights
Projector Front Lights
(I won't be fitting a Spoiler so as to keep her ST identity!)

Interior
----------------------
Leather Seats
Leather Gear Knob (any good suggestions?)

Performance
----------------------
Toyo Proxes T1-R
Uprated Brakes (Suggestions please - I want grooved discs upfront)
4AGE Silver Top Engine Swap
Front and Rear Strut Braces
Suspension Upgrade

I'm sure some of these will never come to be but it's good to dream. I will add some photo's of the car soon, especially when I fit the rear lights.

If anyone has any other suggestions for the car please share.

if u want uprated brakes u can use the GT's (st202) brakes, i think the discs are 175mm and are a direct fit. the rears are the exact same so no need to change them. and get some braided lines aswell for a more direct, sharper feel in braking.

All OEM spoilers from all regions where optional. Certainly an option on ST trims. Most Celica's though came with the wing cause of the options included in a package when they were new.

And I thought models were called something different in differing regions, IE, the ST was the SX over there?

I miss Europe. kindasad.gif
