Yay or nay? I just came up on some perfect side mirrors for a 5th gen. I was wondering what you guys think about that? What I like about them is that the mirror is larger and the way it is side out is wider than stock, but then again, I don't want to look funny. This is why I ask what you guys think, besides, what are friends for right? (Even if you don't like me, LOL)


Also, I wanted to apologize for all the threads, but I am very curious about all this stuff because I am going to be upgrading my car very rapidly from now to the end of next year which may involve a front clip in the end. Anyways, just bare with me please.

Hey Faust. I could say it would look funny, but then again, I have 5th gen mirrors with my GTfour front end, so I would be a hypocrite. I guess it depends on what kind of 5th gen mirrors you get. At the end of the day, it's up to you on what looks better, but I would personally say nay.

Also, I don't think you should have to apologize for multiple serious threads/post. This is a forum afterall, which the point of is to post and ask questions on. If we wanted written out information without any human assistance, then we would probably just go read a book .

LOL Good point! Nah it is just that I came up on these 5th gens. I like them and snagged them for $11. I just did it for the heck of it. $11?

U already have them right? will if u do id say throw em on when the conversion is complete muahahahaha. eh hem, anyway, they arent hard to put on or take off. so id say once the front end is on take a pic of the stock mirrors and than switch em out with the 5th gens and take a pic like that. U can decide which one is better yourself or u could post a poll? Just some ideas

Ok, I will just paint the other one then today after I sleep and then when the stuff comes in and I get them painted I can toss it on and see what it looks like. I am warning you all though, the car will look a lil crooked, I need to take it to a shop to get it all straightened out. Just the bumper and hood will be painted and then pending on what happens next year or if I buy another car, it will then get straightened out by machine and repainted a true black. I am also going to do my GT4 blocks red to match my rims, I mean why not? lol
