Well your at the right place. As far as celica forums go, this is probly the best for this gen. As far as performance goes there is a few threads about this in the engine/trans section.

Welcome! There is loads of information on the 6gc in this site. Check the stickies for frequently asked questions and also do some searches if you don't find what you're looking for. The celica has a lot of power potential but it is far from cheap and easy. Easy mods like intakes and exhausts don't make huge differences. Engine swaps and turbos are where the power is. smile.gif Upload some pics of your celi!

turbo? haha i gotta be honest ...i'm really tight on money. I've looked up parts for on the Celica and they're really expensive. Wat kinda turbo would be recommended? (oh and should this be continued at the engine forum sections? hehe...)

ct26. Factory toyota 3sgte turbo. The factory 3sgte turbo manifold will bolt right up to your block too. If you are tight on money, please take my advice and try not to spend money on the performance aspects of the celica. You'll get no where with little to no gains. If you want to put money into your car do the little things. LED dash/ gauge lights. Extrior mods. Cheap stuff. Stay away from performance, its a waste of money if you're planning on doing Intake, header, exhaust. Don't, unless thats all you want. If you want real power please save up.

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.

wow. one of the wisest things ive heard... so true. you sound like lagos galcobar! lol

but rook, go exterior first, getting some power and sustaining it will cost$$. its an ongoing progress, because those of us that know, realize REAL soon that power is addictive!

lol technically if u need a swap for power then the celica doesnt have the power potential haha right?
i'd say getting any more horses on the stock car will be hard, frown.gif

boosting it may not give u as much power as u want
i'd say it'll be an expensive journey to get your celica fast...

anyway, welcome to the site man! where you from?

nah, you dont have to get a new suspension, but its not bad idea to put on the to do list. look for the sticky "feasible engine swaps" and you will find a plethora of answers to your question!

"feasible engine swap?" lol. not sure what that is...or if its hard to find. i've wanted to do that AWD swap since i find out it was out there. but i've also read up on it and heard here and there that its best to find front clips...and that the suspension is gonna have to be swapped out too for the AWD or something...
