I know Rayme is selling clear headlight lens (a much faster and easier option which i can vouch for seeing them in person on my friend's car) but, hey if you got the time on your hands and wanna save a few bucks thumbsup.gif I was wondering if anyone on here has ever tried taking out their stock diffractive-pattern headlight lens and sanding them down until they are clear? I never took the lens apart so i'm not sure if it would work.

I used one of those frosted notebooks from any office store... we just cut them to shape and glued / screwed them on.. I think they look good and was only.. $1.00 for notebook smile.gif

with the amount of sanding you would need to do to get them polished the heat generated from the sanding usually cracks/breaks the glass - doGGy did this a while back and had these results IIRC.

hmm that is true...how about sandblasting them first to get pattern out..and then deal with the sandblasted glass with....sandpaper?...maybe some sanding compound and one of those buffing attachments you put on power screwdrivers?
that would suck to break it or just make it ugly and not usable...
