Nope. Not new. Death has one, just not with the glossy finish. Same thing, different color.

Oh sh!t, that was that VIS one; yeah? Oh w/e. Why dont you delete the hood pins then? EDIT: if you like it we can wrap your OEM aluminum in CF it'd look the same. still be heavyer. But would assist in the Hood Pin Delete. This post has been edited by D-Man: Oct 20, 2008 - 4:46 PM -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Thats defintaly new. I have never seen that on ebay. Just look at the price. It even has the holes for the hood spoiler. Now my question is, will it fit right with the gt-four bumper? It could just be a direct replacement for the factory bumper you know? If someone can confirm this I would totally ditch the alluminum hood for this bad boy. Not now but down the road hahaha

Oh I seen that when I was looking for a hood. I didn't see the lil air scoop next to the main hood vent though, and I figured it was some knock off that wouldn't even work for GT4. Dang it.

they had this same hood on about 2 months ago for 600ish shipped, only recently has it gone up in price. I can understand buying this hood because CF looks cool, but there isn't much weight savings over the stock hood.

I don't care for the carbon fiber look myself. To me, that was a thing of the past. Like early 2000. Pretty much, I see it as the luxury of auto sport non=show cars. But not really too big on it myself. It would be nice to see on a car though, I won't lie. -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204

Wow! Very nice! Not a bad price either. Good question though about the type of bumper this fits.

Thats what I was thinking too. Because if you look at the center portion of the hood, it bulges up like the factory gt-four one does. So if the pic are legit then more then likely they will flow with the gt-four bumnper.

Heres a side by side view of it. I am feeling the painted stock hood over the CF.

I'm not sure on how well the Seibon CF hood is made. I remember that the ST185 RC hood they produced had incorrectly proportioned vents. The vents on the hood were much smaller as compared to the real thing. I can't say this about the ST205 hood for sure yet though. The Seibon ST205 CF hood is different then the Varis one. The Seibon one as you can see has all the vents already built into the hood, while the Varis model comes incomplete without the vents, just like the OEM Aluminum ST205 hood. The Varis CF ST205 hood also costs more than the Seibon hood.

With the varis costing more the better the part quailty and fitment is. But then again, if you like the carbon fiber look over the factory hood painted to match why not getting right? I mean the Seibon hood has the vents built in and can save your a couple hundred.

i might be wrong but if that's the vis carbon fiber one, than it's the same as the group buy cf hood that was offer for 500 or 600 a while back. it will fit the original bumper but not the gt-four one. correct me if i am wrong ^_^

I have been emailing the company back and fourth and they contacted seibon for me. I emailed a pic of my car to them and explained the fitment and differences of a non gt-four celica and a gt-four celica. They told me that they made it specifically for the gt-four front end, so obviously this hood will fit with the gt-four bumper and flow properly.
