tried the tictac case, didnt work, used an enlarger filter(photography thing) and ended up spilling glue all the way down the front of it and you cant see the clock >.<...
so now i gotta go and get some color gels from somewhere and see if i can pull it off with that..

Red seems to work out best, The green from the clock goes with red to make firey orange digits on a blood red background... I used some translucent blue (Blue Colbat 37) paint on the actual LCD clock surface and it simply gave me turquoise/aqua digits. I'm going to try replacing the plastic aswell perhaps some extra blue will cut out some of that green but I'm pretty sure it's going to just become dimm and still not filter any green.

i'm having an incredibly hard time securing the stage gel that i bought to the plastic housing for the clock...i've tried hot glue, and elmers...neither is working. Any suggestions? I'm thinking that some kind of mechanical fastener rather than glue would be the way to go...

I took my amber plastic thing out, and used the tic-tac container for my blue. If you're careful with the amber piece and don't break it, you can use it as a form. Put the hacked up tic-tac container plastic on top of it, and heat it with a hair dryer using the original amber piece as a form, it won't soften up the way the tic-tac plastic will. Then you can basically reattach the plastic the same way the amber one was attached, with the flat little tabs on the top and bottom. Voila! Professional aqua-blue results! kindasad.gif

On a side note: I have 3-4 spare clocks with and without brown filters if anyone needs one. I also have a book of various color tinted clear paper that have several shades of each color which can be combined to make practically any color you can come up with. If anyone wants me too I'll make clocks in your color choice for $20ea - just gonna need you to post a sample of the exact color you want.

Took pics with my Cellphone but they are gastly, I'll take pics with my Camera tonight.
The blue is perfect.
