gas prices have come down so much i hope they stay this way or lower by the time the meet rolls around.
sure makes it easier on our wallet which is nice since R2 has to have 93 octane.
at least he gets 24-26 mpg with mixed highway/city & lots of boosting
i'll be curious to see what we can get from lots of highway driving & not much boost.

Oh I'm definitely going, but it'll probably be for Saturday only; I've got my bowling class mid-afternoon on Sunday out in Humble. It's a little inconvenient that it falls in between pay weeks though.

BTW, I'm probably going to need to find a new used block/engine soon. I was on a slight decline (little steeper than a normal driveway) this morning after dropping my mom off for her computer class, and I could seriously hear my car knocking. I hope it doesn't blow till like Thanksgiving or X-mas.

Hey Scott, are you going to Austin?

So what's the plan for saturday morning?

me and panda are still intending to go. money is always the issue with me and him.


but i dont see any reason why we shouldnt be able to make this. Gas is getting cheaper and i think we can find a way to swing the at least enought o get up there for Sat.

Just an FYI, the planned cruise route is 93 miles to Marble Falls from the rendezvous spot. From there, the group will split in two: Route A is mostly highway runs with some twisties here and there and Route B is what they call the Lime Creek Dare Devils run.

Where are we gonna meet and what time? also where are we gonna meet up with everyone else?

The meeting spot for Saturday AND Sunday @ 11am!!!

Seems really sketchy, not a lot of people are responding on this thread.

Im going for sure, how many 6g's are going? I know Kerri and Joe are taking R2.

I was assuming we were all just meeting at fuds at 11 a.m right?

we're going to be caravaning down in R2 with 3-4 local MKIII Supra's.
been working on R2 all weekend attempting to get him a little more presentable - a bit of a losing battle
i've been keeping up with the thread on supramania & it doesn't seem sketchy to me zero ... everyone has been really friendly & nice there to me even though i don't have a Supra.
seems like they are well organized & have maps made for everyone with the routes we'll be taking.

I think he means sketchy on this side because no one's really responded in this thread lately. Eitherway, I'll be heading out with some supra buddies from the katy area Saturday morning and probably have the girlfriend in tow.

I'm still in definetly [Just don't post on the weekends much] and I might not have the kids this time so I will be driving the curves a bit more aggressively

Lisa and I were just talking about that - if we don't have the kids we're down to stay but we're broke so we're gonna need something cheap. And yeah - they are doing the same thing on Sunday IIRC.
