I think he means sketchy on this side because no one's really responded in this thread lately. Eitherway, I'll be heading out with some supra buddies from the katy area Saturday morning and probably have the girlfriend in tow.

Your heading out Katy way [I-10]? I learned my lesson on that one one the way back last time - it's way farther. I'll be heading out Sat morning down 290. Anybody wants to roll with me - PM me biggrin.gif

well, no one really said anything in this thread, so I wasn't sure if it was still on for most of us. I'll talk to my two Supra peeps to see if they'll be taking the 290 route on the way up to Austin cuz they're more around I-10 between Highway 6 and the Beltway. What time are you planning to head out? 8:30?

I've got a friend that lives of of Guadalupe and 28th street, but I dunno if she'll let random people crash at her place. There's this bombass sno-cone place down the street from her and it's hella cheap. I might drop by there on the way.

Tell them it's still faster to skip over to 290 and head out - trust me. But yeah, 8:00-9:00 is what I was thinking - closer to 8 hopefully. We got out last time as planned and the schedule I laid out went perfectly.

^ gotcha smile.gif

we're too broke to stay anywhere overnite for Sunday & sleeping in R2 isn't an option - he is roomy for a 2 seater, but not Celica hatch roomy lol
insurance finally settled but it will be a week or 2 before they cut Joe a check so buying R2 replacement fenders + primer put us behind in finances for the month kindasad.gif
at least we can still make it out for 1 day tho ... should be a blast! biggrin.gif

Don't feel bad. I have $55 left after all my bills and covering the girl spending.
But, I think I'll be putting my gas this weekend on credit.
