Just wondering if anyone has 205/55 tires mounted on 16" rims? How do you the way they handle? Do you have pictures?

Yes, that is recommended size for a 16" rim. I am just wondering if anyone has gone taller than that on a 16. Thank you, though.

I got it... I have another note for you (dunno how much helpful smile.gif). In two weeks I'll put 185/60 R16 winter tires on. And equivalent to this with wider tire is 205/55 R16.

Yes, those winter tires will be about as tall as 205/55-16, just much more narrow. Could you send me pics once you get those winter tires on in a couple of weeks? Thanks!

I have 205/50 R16. According to my onwers manual this is the recommended size for 16 inch rims. I Find that they handle well. have federals super steels on the front and dunlop direzzas on the rear.

I've got 205/55-R16's and they're a nice ride.

They also fill the wheelbay so it doesn't look like you have small rims.

i had a set of 205 55 16 yokohama es-100 tires and they were Great!

i loved them because the handled very well, filled in the fender nicely and it absorbed much of the street vibrations. i dont think youll be disappointed.
