All out of the interior pieces came out of the ONE lone 6th gen we found today (it was a coupe). ALL the pieces seen will soon be red/black carbon fiber wrapped. Found a BUNCH of 5th gen's also, hence the passenger side mirror (Dustin gave us a drivers side a while back). Finding a power mirror though.......not so much. The one junkyard where we got the interior parts had five 5th Gens. ONE had both mirrors that were power, but the passenger side was cracked pretty bad. Only one other one had a mirror, and it was the passenger side, but non power. Sadly, I couldn't get them disassembled to swap the power guts over. So my wife and I headed home and stopped by this one other place I knew of that was local. Went in, and the guy said "I don't think we've got any celica's, but feel free to take a look" and didn't charge us to get in. The VERY last car on the lot in the back left corner was a white 90, power mirrors, and had the passenger side that you see in the pic. Best part? Paid $25 for the mirror, and $10 at the other lot for all the interior plastic. Can't beat that with a stick. -------------------- |

Good find. What's that circular piece on the left? Thats the thing that goes around the top of the gauge cluster. -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. Yup. I may not have a need for that though. Waiting for something to be delivered.
All these pieces are going to be my trial pieces to get my contouring technique down. The switch panel for the pass door should be easy, nice and flat, same with the ash tray lid. The Door handle bezels are going to be a PITA, and I don't want to talk about the little upper vent piece as I'm going to try to carry the cloth all the way back. I like when things are delivered. I get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, lol. I also like scoring at the junkyard, theres a ton of 5th gens at my local one, and about 2 6gens. People tend to just rip the whole thing apart though, and damage pieces in the process, which really sucks, cause i find what i need, but in 2 or 3 pieces.
Its also fun to shop from other cars and see what could line up in the celi. -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

Funny part is my wife LOVES to go to the flea markets, and she said that hitting the junkyards was like flea marketing for cars. Think I found a new thing for us to do in our spare time.
Who was it that got a set of projectors for like $150 a while back?? THAT was a major junkyard score there. -------------------- |
