sadam remember him? he was a terrorist leader, he supported many terrorists. he was murdering his own people simply because they went against him. i believe that is more than a good enough reason to help them out. i know that there is enough oil there to last us a decent amount of time so we can find an alternate to fuel. if we drill offshore in alaska the government can tax it therefore helping the economy out better then getting it from another country who is taxing the **** out of it. also idk if i have become personel on this thread and i am not meaning too. if i have i apologize for any personel attacks. He wasn't a terrorist leader - he was a dictator. So is Castro but we didn't go in there and try to flip that country (although we tried to kill him and give money and guns to revolutionary groups). The cost of this Alaskan venture and the destruction of the environment is not worth the oil. This is our only planet, we have to draw the line somewhere. And no you've been good. you are the man supersprynt.... you are taking the words out of my mouth.... beating me to the punch.... and 6gen, i TOTALLY AGREE with the fact that whoever is voting JUST BECAUSE of the color of skin needs to be slapped and educated. BUT i just feel that while BOTH MCCAIN AND OBAMA are all talk... Obama is talking a better game... and if i got suckered...hey then im in the same boat as the people that voted for bush... not once... but twice. but its kind of hard not to vote for someone that looks like you ESPECIALLY when alot of people (including blacks) assume things about you for the same reason....SKIN COLOR. "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he does not exist".... it may not make sense... but it did after i thought about it for A LONG time. and no its not relating to skin color. i agree that obama is very good at speaking, not going to lie he is extremely great at public speaking. Mccain on the other hand is not the best public speaker. agreed. thats what is sad is that people do assume stupid **** like that over skin color. racism honestly disgusts me. i dont really understand what your saying about it being hard not to vote for someone because of what they look like? for your quote: i deff understand what this quote's meaning is through a religious view although i am athiest hah but i can also see how this can be used as other views and not so much religious sorry i didnt make it clear (im vauge sometimes) what i meant is like for instance when you were very young you were inevitably in a situation where you had a ken doll and a barbie doll... which did you most likely choose? the one that looks like a boy? or a girl? thats a rudimentary example of gender identity. the same thing applies to race, age, sexual orientation, religious preference etc. its human nature, but the GOOD NEWS is that this country for the most part has shwon that they have the sophistication to choose a guy thats right for the job. and as far as that is concerned to all the "NOBAMA" people.... think about this.... if you can admit that the man ran the campaign LIKE A WELL OILED AND TUNED 3SGTE. what do you think he will do for the country? just think about it for a second... he ran his campaign VERY WELL, CONSISTENT, AND ORGANIZED. OH! and blue vert, i didnt mean JUST automotive, i was just using it as an example among many. but he BETTER back up that mouth or belive me... black folk will turn on him like they did on OJ! ![]() ahhh okay thanks for clearing that up. i agree with that. as a matter of fact i had a convo at lunch today with a few collegues about people choosing religion because its the religion they have been grown up in. like your parents religion is a 90% impact on what your religion will be ya know? hah i love how you compare him to a 3sgte. hah i think he did run his campaign very well, organized, consistent and he was very well spoken but i just do not agree with his views. bahaha on the oj part high five on that sir lol |

I didn't say anything about going to war in Afghanistan. It was when the administration decided that Iraq was part of that plan is when things got screwed up. If I remember we revolted. It's called the American Revolution. Iraq wasn't revolting. We went in there and decided their government was done. It's not a comparison it's the total opposite. If you were to use that comparison to an abusive husband; it's like we went over there to disarm the guy when he never had a gun and in the process destroy the house, throw the wife down the stairs and kill some innocent relatives. Sure, they really needed our help. It wasn't about helping out a country, it was about protecting US interests in oil and business. You've effectively put all homeless people in a category as lazy and drug users. Have a heart, guy. Some are just down on their luck and need a helping hand. Some are turning to drugs because that's the only thing that takes the pain away. Be charitable during the year not just when Joe Sixpack is dressed up as Santa in front of the mall. The economic boom of the 90s was horrible right? The budget surplus. Worst thing he did was screw a beast and lie about it. we needed to go to iraq. iraq is a huge supporter in terrorism. in order to take care of the terrorists we need to take care of the main support so they have nothing to rely on. we are trying to establish a government that will help the country not destroy it. would you rather live in a country where say Bush walked around with a 12guage and you said something bad about him he would blow your head off? or would you rather live in a country where you can say **** busch and not have the fear of him coming to your door and blowing your head off? i on the other hand wouldnt mind keeping my head. we need to protect oil since the environmentalist will not let us drill in the United States because it looks ugly? seriously would you rather pay the 2 dollars a gallon or the 4.50-5.00 a gallon because we have to have it imported? sadly we have to protect it so we can have it imported. maybe if we were allowed to drill on our own country the economy would rise, and gas prices would fall, and we wouldnt have to protect oil in other countries. if you read my post i said there is a good amount that are lazy and drug users, but also there are some that have medical problems to where they cannot get a job. those are the ones who deserve money not the lazy and drug user ones. i completely understand on giving some of my money to someone who just cannot do anything about their problems. i just do not agree with giving my money to someone who refuses to get a job and earn money themselves. I think Iraq was just a big lie to us by the govt. Its oil concern. Bush has hands in how many major oil companies?? I do pay $1.99 a gallon for gas ATM thanks to god knows what. But I do know I live near more oil rigs than I've seen 6GCs. They DO allow drilling for oil, at least here in TEXAS. And we also have our own refineries. So Texas can drill, refine and sell its own oil. But we still had ~$4.00/gal at times, so its not about homeland oil drilling. I know someone is pocketing more money than ever imaginable from oil. Its inflation. And that goes back to the fundemental difference between the two parties... the republicans were trying to build a house starting with the roof, and guess what happened? the roof fell and is smushing the hell out of all of us. we should think the opposite and hope that by funding a strong foundation/infastructure we can all have a house worthy of the worlds envy ONCE AGAIN. (use the period after the great depression as an example) we started all over from THE GROUND UP. -------------------- |

QUOTE worst president in history? i do not agree, i rememeber when we were attacked on 9/11 and everyone was for going to war but once we were in they wanted us out? it was a lose lose situation. what is wrong with helping a country get back on their feet? America needed help to get this country started why shouldn't iraq? say you here about the guy across the street is beating his wife and then come over and beats your wife/mom/family memeber? what would you do sit back and watch or go over to his house take his ass out and help his wife out in recovering? pretty selfish if you ask me. if your saying that he is the worst president in US history then i guess your saying he has done everything wrong possible? then i guess he is horribly wrong for helping out another country and trying to get rid of freedom? good job. I think you need to watch this family guy clip to better understand the war in iraq and why people don't like bush. http://www.hulu.com/watch/42201/family-guy...ing-ground-zero -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

And no you've been good. he was a dictator that murdered people because they did not agree with him or he just suspected them of something. maybe my deffinition of a terrorist and yours are different. yes i really dont agree with us trying to murder Castro. but he on the other hand was not as crazy as sadam. sadam put his own brother through a meat grinder because he question sadams authority? pretty sick person if you ask me i just believe that it is needed until we find an alternative. we have with solar energy but it was way to expensive for people to afford. i think we should drill and as soon as we find an alternative fuel with do what we can to restore as much of that area as we can. okay just making sure. i know sometimes i get a bit "excited" if you will about politics hah QUOTE worst president in history? i do not agree, i rememeber when we were attacked on 9/11 and everyone was for going to war but once we were in they wanted us out? it was a lose lose situation. what is wrong with helping a country get back on their feet? one thing i am afraid of is assassination. i really really do not want obama to be assassinated, i may not like his views but if he is assassinated (just going by the threats that have already been) it will sadly be by a racist white man. sadly because we have people in this world who just cannot see someone of a different skin color as an equal to them. if obama were to be assassinated this country will go nuts as in some of the worst riots the United States will see...
