I saw Deaths interior last weekend and i must say hes done a hell of a job with it. Looks damn good! oh yeah, i've seen the interior of the interior Seriously, you'd be surprised the things we found when we traded carpets. I had enough money to go and buy booze when it was done and over with And even better, We've discovered that vert and hatch have different sized carpets -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! Thanks guys you rock. Lisa deserves half the credit too - she spent nearly 4 hours cleaning every tiny little thing while it was out and I just did all the disassembly/reassembly and of course the combination of parts mentally.
Thanks to all you, my friends, for finding rare parts, trading carpets etc etc etc. [Zero, Ripley, D-Man, Stetsonaw, Griffy etc]. Now I just gotta get dirty under that hood again and pull some more horses out Zero - Notice the red pad on the carpet is getting redder now - no more brown cast to it. PS side is beautiful marlboro red. The dude i bought it from NEVER put the top up; including minor rain showers. not to mention all the sh!t he's spilled in it, and oh my good ness. That's why i said to pressure wash it and then shampoo the damn thing. Fcuk cleaning that nasty carpet by hand. Why do you think i never cared if sh!t was on that carpet? Dude, I've yet to have a sinlge item on the floor sense the swap. Lisa deserves ALOT for cleaning that nasty thing. I wouldn't even do it -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! Damn D-Man - most impressive. the SS-III seats & black carpet really finished off the interior & made it so OEM fresh - looks so nice in person.

Nice job on it - and I'm glad you stuck with the black carpet idea over the dyed carpet idea. That might've been cool, but then again it might've looked like dog vomit. Kinda risky IMO. Everything looks sweet though, you must be very happy!!!

DEATH, your interior looks pretty damn good now, but just imagine putting in something like LilJoe has for the overkill sickness. Your car already has a badass look to it outside, why not transfer that inside?

I was gonna do something over the top with the red carpet but I rolled like that for a week and it grew the wrong way on me. I dig Joe's interior but that's his thing. Trust me - it looks aggressive enough at nightime with the gauges lit
Thanks again tho guys. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. Here you go... Wow, is that painted or leather wrapped? I think that is the only celica I've ever seen with coloured internals that actually looks good. -------------------- Davey

Wow, is that painted or leather wrapped? I think that is the only celica I've ever seen with coloured internals that actually looks good. Cheers mate. ALL those panels are painted. I did everything myself (except recovering the seats). It took, what felt like, an eternity to do - masking up, prepping, painting (several coats), etc. Well worth it in the end and I was very pleased with the results. I used the Foliatec line of products. |

That's a really good idea to do a calendar featuring interiors! Maybe next year we can do it where it features exteriors but there's an inset (a little square in the corner or at the bottom of the month-grid page) that shows the interior of the car. Only challenge with this is interiors are kind of hard to photograph nicely... well that and people will have to actually clean out their cars! There's only so much photoshop can do! -------------------- |
