hmmm, should have been a tighter limit on entries per person. The original thread was 1 per person. People submitting 10 almost identical pictures is not a great idea imo.

It's just gonna spread the votes they would have got more thinly reducing their chances of getting in surely.

I got this suggestion for the calendar, what do you guys think:

QUOTE
you know what also would be great,,,
that the calendar had an extra page witht he specs of each car featured
or also if it displays the birthday of the owners of the car that would also be great, dont you think?

My response was:
QUOTE
If it's possible, I'd totally include a page with the specs of each car. However that will increase the price of the calendar, so first I need to see what the printing quote comes back as. I can't just "add one page", printing doesn't work like that unfortunately. I'll post your suggestions up in the official calendar thread and see what kind of feedback the community has to offer. I thought about the birthday thing too but had ruled it out in my head. We'll see!

Looking for feedback.

+1 vote for the idea. I like it because people can see what went into these cars if they want to do one of the mods themselves, and that would make it VERY easy to know what was done. I'd be willing to pay extra for that feature.

It's not about showing off the mods - it's just about stating the specs. Some cars that might not have a lot of mods but make it into the calendar are GREAT examples of how elegant our cars are stock, too. I've seen some really fine examples of stock cars on this site. There's kind of a gracefulness in that kind of purity.

Don't get me wrong. I've got all kinds of stuff I'd like to do to my car - I'm not just saying that because mine is mostly stock. Mine may be mostly stock, but mine is also scraping the bottom of the Round 2 Poll laugh.gif

Here's the top 12 voted on pix! (not necessarily in order of how they'll appear in the calendar)

I want to tell everyone who participated, you guys did an awesome job. There were SO many pictures submitted and they were all really excellent! Having so many great pix for everyone to choose from makes it possible to have a great calendar, too. Thanks to everyone who voted in the polls and took part of this, too. This calendar is for YOU and it was great to see such an awesome turn out of everyone contributing!

So woot.gif to everyone who helped out!

You're a lot closer than me though. Technically, I could've entered some pics if Tiga did.

I did, but apparently no one thought my picture was calendar material frown.gif

Next year...For sure! biggrin.gif

Still looks like some good choices this year though.
