ok i need to know about how hard it would be to turbo an 7afe and what numbers it would put out and if i got new gaskets and new rods and pistons how much psi and horsepower i could put threw it and i also need to know everything i would need to turbo it

a lot of factors...roughly 2k-3k ti get a good turbo setup with 180-210 whp

3k is a 3sgte motor....think about that as well...with a lot more power potential

Think he means just whack a 3sgte in the front instead.

BTW talk to FunkySR as he has done this to his.(7afe turbo)

3000.00 is a good range for the price of the parts ,but you also will have to get it tuned ,and a good tune is going to cost . i spent around 1000.00 just to have mine tuned several times . with the 7a it is a never ending project because you will always want more. i know . my best advise is to take your time ,get good name brand parts, spend a little more one the important stuff, and get a good tune . if not then you will be throwing money at it ,and getting the good parts later. with the toyota motors it is not like the hondas where you can just put on a turbo ,and go boost. there is alot to do to get them to run well with it. also use the search button there is alot of good info on this forum, all you got to do is read.
