Been away ages but i'm back and i finally got my celica finished.
Let me know what you think. I'm looking into getting a throttle body setup on trumpets, does anyone have any information on that? The full current spec can be found on my profile if anyone is interested! Thanks for looking and let me know what you think good or bad! Hasn't been lowered on the coilovers yet, waiting until it passes the national car test in case i put it too low for the rollers! Should be getting it rolling roaded soon aswell -------------------- signature made by jaws4god |

Well i got to say that everything on the car looks really nice. I especially love your rear bumper it seems as if you got trd rear exentions put on the car. Then somehow you made the extension flush with the rear bumper and it looks amazing. But im not to much of a fan of the massive ridiculous 2 12 inch subs taking up your whole trunk. But thats just what i think other wise nice Looking Celica

Thanks for all the comments
Hopefully i won't be in another accident, one is enough! They're 10" lol i wanted to make a custom boot install but then i scratched that idea because i still wanted a boot and would like a spare wheel available to me! So i made the shelf out of mdf and built it all up! Nice thump off them! When the boot is closed it looks like they take up the whole boot but when its open you have the space to put things in and out of the boot, just like the original shelf. It's not fixed in either so i can lift it up and down. The amp is just behind the rear seats on the drivers side out of the way! Yep, i got some replica TRD extensions off ebay and fitted them in. Then flushed them in! Bolted them on in the usual places then riveted them onto the car. Layered with a bit of fibreglass and a light filling to finish it off. The same with the sideskirts! I actually like the 3 point spoiler, i tried finding an SSIII one with the raiser blocks but no luck but typically, as soon as i had the car finished a fella i know finds a crashed GT4 with a spoiler! And only 100euro too Had a wash today and took some more pics, still need to give the interior a good old scrub though to try and bring up the seats a bit! -------------------- signature made by jaws4god |

For some reason, the spoiler looks a bit better on your car than it does on mine- but yours is more dressed up. Thing is, you have a roof spoiler...take off the 3 post and rock it NGHTKD style.

hey Well how do you take off the bumper if somehow you get a little dent in it. Lets just say you did. How would you take the rear bumper off along with the sideskirts??? Ya i really like your car alot. Did making the extensions and side skirts flush with the body along with the fiberglass cost you a lot of money. Suxs to hear that you got into an accident but i guess it happen to anybody just got to learn from it.

No stranger to accidents Fella ran a red light 3 weeks after i bought the car!, 2 other crashes as a passenger and 3 crashes on my motorbike just gotta pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get on with it!
If it gets a little dent in the bumper itself then it could be filled but if the extensions get smashed to bits then i'll just have to drill out the rivets and do a rebuilding job! If the sideskirts get damaged bad enough that they'd have to come off i'd imagine the car would be a write off as panels and doors would be smashed in also! Small little knicks i can do with filler etc. To be honest, didnt cost that much. I riveted them on then a bit of fibreglass filler followed by some fibreglass matting etc. The main thing is the time involved and to get it right! Took me and a mate ages to get it some bit decent! filling sanding filling etc. etc. I did it myself so i wasnt paying any labour but paying a spray shop to do it would cost a fair bit i would imagine due to the time involved in doing it. I had a lot of practise on my girlfriends civic. I needed something i could make mistakes on before i went at the celica -------------------- signature made by jaws4god |
