how much cash? Do I get your turbo parts too? yea you do, and im not sure how much my stuff would be worth but yea. but dont forget that isn't what my car looks like in the picture, i got rid of the bodykit i would need to look at your car a little more tho in the mean time, go wiggle your poorly connected emanage wiring because im willing to be good money (again) that thats why your car wont start. you must have a gambling problem, throwing all this money around. na the emanage is fine, there is no way thats preventing me from starting because im almost 100 percent sure that its the vacuum leak im just gonna take it back to stock for now, drive home, then meddle a little again at some point -------------------- '99 Celica GT - White

Theres no way you can have that big of a vacuum leak to prevent you from starting. Since you are doing all the work trace all of your vacuum lines.

Fine then get a vacuum cap on the end where you are running that vacuum line off of then. Leave the bov alone and cap the vacuum nipple your are gettting source from and try to start it. It doesnt matter if your BOV is leaking. Its not like you have a 3sgte where if theres a huge leak some where the car won't even run.

Its not the leak. I agree with Manny You FAIL at 5sfTe LMAO. Test your battery. Get a volt meter and see if you get a good reading.

your problem, or at least your first problem, that's causing your car to not start is 100% for sure, without a doubt, an electrical problem. if the wiring for the emanage is poorly connected it most certainly can cause your car to not start... as well as have all the aforementioned problems that appear to be map sensor problems.

I bet you didn't even solder your wire connection on the emanage. And WHY would you try tuning it with the wideband held onto the wastegate hole? You should have just installed and wired up the emanage and left everything as is untuned. Its not going to hurt the car to drive it to the exhaust shop and to the dyno untuned on 460s.

You cant drive a 5s untuned on 460's. Theres Soooooooo much fuel it barly even runs. I never tried but Id say its not possible to drive the car without taking some fuel out. That said its totaly ok to leave the stock injectors in and drive it anywhere you need to go as long as you DO NOT boost. -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

I've done it. All the way to the exhaust shop across town and then all the way the other way across town to get tuned.
I was running sooo rich I was spitting out raw fuel from my pipe. -------------------- 98 Celica gt red- totaled deer

Damn, I stand corrected. I still wouldnt recomend it over just being smart and not boosting stock.
Id say you havent failed at 5sfte yet but your way to excited about having a finished product rather then a work in progress. Your hitting speed bumps you could have avoided if you had planned further ahead before jumping right in and buying parts. Your not doing it the wrong way, just the expencive way. -------------------- Member of Team 5sfTe

HA HA HA this **** cracked me up. Just wondering if you checked your timing belt. that may explain the squeaking noise and would make sense because if your car was running like crap that puts alot of stress on the timing belt because its sporatic.
Dont give up bro i hit so many bumps doing my 3s swap i was on the phone with tweak for hours at a time fixing **** that i could have prevented had i been a little smarter. Let us know what happens |
