i've had FFXIII preordered since may, does that make me a fanboy? if so i'm cancelling it until that date

yeah ive been waitin for it too. I was a bit disappointed when they announced it for the 360 though.

Is anyone getting SOCOM? L B P is coming out too. we should make a 6gc level

I have Socom. It's a bit different than the PS2 versions because /6 did it now instead of Zipper. Honestly I like it less, but it's not necessarily a bad game. Shooting is harder, recoil really screws up your shots.

The game launch was a mess. I got it last Wed. and didn't get to play til Friday because of the massive server overload. They did a temporary server fix and it's sorta working now. But I'd wait to get it.

I just got it yesterday. I like it a lot and the play seems to be fairly decent. I just wish more of my friends had a PS3 to play it. The recoil is fine if you ask me, Just gotta roll it up from the chest a bit.

Do the servers jump a little bit every once in a while for you? Im wondering if its my net or just the servers

Yeah I'm learning the recoil. The game is more realistic based than the other socoms. You can't go and jump around and move back and forth to dodge bullets.

The servers do lag a bit, there will be a bit of jumpiness. They are working a lot better than they did a week ago but I still get freeze ups that cause me to restart my machine. The fact that I can't go and join my clan members games is VERY annoying. Unless I just don't know how but the obvious thing would be to just go to their name and click join game.

Quick swapping guns & grenades sucks. I have to re-do it often and I am just not a fan of the way that's setup. But the game is def. fun, it's grown on me a lot.

Socom not out here yet. I think i'll wait a few (months) for the servers to sort out.

FarCry2 tomorrow for me yay.

how about the resistance 2 beta? did you guys get in it? Im downloading it right now

does anyone else have tomb raider...I love it

just got it, but been too busy playing NFS: Undercover. anybody else have this, and do you get any lag at high speeds (playing career mode, offline)?

Did you end up getting it? I rented it, 'twas okay. The vehicles are all slow and cut off at ~60 MPH, which is extremely annoying for the amount of territory that has to be covered.

Did Uncharted come with it though? The remote is overrated, it'd be cool if the controllers weren't wireless but I just use those and I'm fine. How many times are u going to touch it while ur watching a movie anyways?

no i didn't get that either...

I did manage to "get" a free controller though. The guy was a _________ and a dumb _______ and wound up giving me 2 controllers so i kept my mouth shut.
