hate to be a dick or anything... but toyota did release a type "R" it was a JDM 5th gen all trac... I got the badges off it a while ago.. and I plan on putting in on my car, the badge is a GT-R badge and well I figure that my car was origianally a GT and I have a Rally version 3sgte... well at the moment only the block is from the Rally motor.. so it kinda makes since ---> GT-R = GT Rally

Anyways heres a photo of a buncha badges and you can see that it is a toyota badge.


the ones on the right are the 6gc ones and the ones on the left are the JDM 5ths

I personally think it looks kinda cool when its on the car.. have a photo somewhere might post it if I can find it.. and its alot better lookin than what that guy has on his window

Even if that guy did have a rally version 3sgte....it's not a type r. Neverstop,those badges look sweet! They actually respresent what you have on your car. This guy does not have a 3sgte,let alone a 3sgte rally version. That guy is a moron....he put type r on his car because he thinks it sounds cool. He is an idiot with an unmodded engine and a ton of crap mods like that playschool steering wheel and his gay interior. If he had a rally version 3sgte then that's cool. But he doesn't. even if you have a rally version 3sgte.... say GT-R not type R

yea the window badge is pretty dumb

edit: that steering wheel isnt toooooo bad I will say my G/F has a the sparco one that looks like something off of atari... I hated it at 1st but that thing is soo nice when your driving.. but I would never put a APC product on my car - dont care what it is

That guy deleted all the entries from his book that told him to get rid of the type R sticker.

ok why is everyone calling this guy a moron??? Its his car not yours... you it might look stupid on his car. but his car... you don't know what that type r means to him... I remeber when i had had first car on the driver side window i had a sticker that said MAC inside and apple...(i got it off my computer) well people that didn't know me would laugh and say you don't have and apple computer in your car so whats up with the sticker??? well if they knew me they would know that My name was mac... and i ate apples everyday ... still do... that why i put that sticker on my window...

off topic: somewhere around the 1st gen celica, the highest model waz a GT-R

so is that how you tell an mr2 from an mr2 turbo?

i could never realise any difference between the two.

just looked at some pics, even the NA's have dual exhaust.

so how do you tell between the two

That is very different. It would be like this...if I put a Maytag decal on my car people would say that I do not have a dishwasher in my car so I should not have it...even if my nickname was that or something. An apple computer is a totally different thing,having nothing to do with cars.

When you hear Type R....anybody who knows anything is going to think of an Integra Type R. He has a celica....if you have a celica you don't put VTEC or Type R on your car. I talked to this bogus idiot on AOL and he made the lame excuse that his sister bought it for him and he put it on so she would not feel bad. All I am saying....that sticker is embarassing because it totally contradicts itself. That is like putting a Ford Racing Sticker on a Toyota.

well another thing you have to consider is were did her get the car... (i know this isn't the case here) her could have gotten a car at a dealership that sell mostlly celica and integras my sisters old 626 had a HudsonToyota sticker on the trunk lid...

No no no....different. If my celica had something like..... Cunningham Honda on it then people can assume I bought it from there. Even if I had a badge like that I would remove it. But if I did,people would assume I bought it from there. There is nothing wrong with that. But have a Type R sticker on a celica is wrong...just like a VTEC sticker on a toyota or any other non-honda is wrong
