Hey 6gc members i was hoping maybe you guys could help me with this one.

soo a couple of days ago i...did the stupidest thing a car owner could do. i jumped my car with the cables backwards. AH. ****. I know it was stupid.

i read online that i would have to change the 100amp fuse, and i did. It seemed like that was the only one that had blown?

can anyone give like.. a diagnosis of what i need to do to get my baby running again?

i would start to check fuses first. also get a multimeter and check battery juice.

Reverse termination can really screw up the battery too, well.... u were jumping it... probably bad neways. lol Just start pullin and replacing all the fuses u see

Remember proper way to jump a battery...
:::connect red on positive of good car, connect other red on positive on dead car. Connect black on negative on good car, then finally connect the other black one on a ground of the dead car, preferably the engine (NOT THE NEG BATTERY POST on the dead battery):::

if you dont belive me, i used to work for a car battery company, if your levels are low, the immediate voltage will jump the straps and create an explosion.

I had a similar situation like this and blew a fuse actually might have been 2 or 3, one of the fuses was something like A1 or something like that under the hood in the fuse box. I had no power at all, no crank, no dash, charged it over night and nothing. I figured out that the main power fuse had blown and had to bend the pieces back together to get to an autoparts store cost me like 2 bucks to fix the entire problem. Took me a while to be able to diagnose the problem and a few posts on here.

I was in a similar situation... I reversed the cables one time while jumping my car with a friends car. The battery light came on in my friends car, but there was no damage to either vehicle?
