Managed a 4.4 seconds to 60mph and 11.1 seconds to 100mph, with a passenger, in freezing conditions!! I'm sure the car would have managed much better with better conditions, and if I had taken out all the excess weight in the back (I reckon around 50-60kg of speakers and amps etc!).

Attempted a 0-100-0 time, but i messed up on the downshift...I'm used to coasting to a stop to save fuel!..lol

If its slippery and freezing, anyone can do that.

I was on a patch of ice, and did it on accident. You can get the speed up to 80-100mph fast, because your on ice.

If you were riding, I would like a video also haha.

I had a very unofficial 4.6s in mine before the rebuild and ECU, might have to have another go when I am back home in February. I don't doubt low 4s (or even high 3s with the right turbo set up) are very possible.

I never timed my celica but I am pretty sure by time i count to 5 counting one two three four five I am already at 80. I would like to think i am 0-60 in plus minus 4-4.5 seconds? I know they sell those devices to measure your times but I doubt their reliability. One thing I can verify is that 3rd gen swap is insanely fast and putting out waaaay too much torque. First few months after swap in 2007 I went through a set of tires while trying to figure out how to control the beast because i was spinning wheels on every gear change. One of those days I would really like a session with a professional driver to help me get the best out of the car.

the racelogic box is supposed to be very accurate..its the same thing they use in magazines such as EVO etc to verify manufacture claimed times..

I guess I should have made a vid, but it was a kind of last minute thing!

(Btw..it was not on a sheet of ice?..lol, also, with 4WD traction is not as big a problem as FWD with 3sgte swap! biggrin.gif )

If only it was 3 years newer, in black, with grey TE37s and had a bit more power..it would be perfect.. wink.gif laugh.gif

The racelogic unit is great..does lap times etc aswell!
