Nice shots, again I have changed my mind and decided to buy a used 16-35mk1 tuesday instead of
the 17-40 along with a new 70-200L 2.8 IS. Another year without a swap or projectors. I see it as a
savings account I can use. I am an L-coholic

i had a dream about L lenses last night. probably due to the fact that i was talking with a fellow photographer that night.
i had a 17-40 and a 70-200l Non-is and a 400L 1.8. it was a good dream

Those are future plans. I work and save a lot. If that is crazy, my tool box is getting pretty full of Snap On tools too.

My money I loan to the govmt then they pay me back with interest of course.
I think blinky is a male whore if I remember correctly.lol JK Blinky

I seriously considered this lens but, I love Image Stabiliztion at any length really
and after missing my sons best run and catch because I had my zoom locked too
tight I realized, having a fixed length would be too hard for me at this point, for football
at least.

The 100-400 has a slip ring to adjust tension of the push pull, and I had just shot
a photo of the moon and tightened it more than normal, then my son ran a streak route
right toward me. I then got a couple shot and fired a few more in anger.lol

In anger

It's rgfrison
I have been looking for a 70-200 2.8 IS but am waiting to get refunded from B&H
or buy a new one when the UX date codes get in. I cancelled my order because
I don't really want last years date code on a brand new lens. Kinda wierd but
it does effect the resale. I am still pissed I missed the rebate by about 2 weeks.
I could have got a new one for 1575 insted of 1699.

I don't think I will win the e-bay 16-35II I am about 200 under the going rate
so if I do it would be a pretty sweet deal. The mkI will be a great lens. .l After
all the money is gone from my tax return I will still be without a good walk around lens.lol
I don't do much mid range stuff anyway. I have my 28-135 but it is pretty soft,
I may trade it for a good tripod or something.
