i am considering a setup. something decent but cheap.

I have a 26 gallon 6.7 cfm at 40 psi. Im not looking for a huge animal.

Can i get one of those small guns and make it work?

Can the sand be recycled?

Who has a sandblasting set up?

thanks guys....

6.7 scfm isn't enough for any blaster. My first blaster was a harbor freight 20gal outside blaster ($40) and I was using 9.6scfm compressor. It worked but not very well. Then I bought a $300 60gal compressor that was 11.7scfm. It worked much better but still lacked. My current compressor is a 125gal 23scfm blue point and it works wonders. With ought a decent compressor you'll need to make sure you are using the smallest ceramic tip possible for your gun. Hope that helps.

For the record, all the scfm specs in my last post were at 90psi not 40. 6.7@40 won't work on any gun

I don't know the specs on mine, but its the bigger one at harbor freight. Use sandblasting sand. Someone told me to use payground sand, and it doesn't work at all. I think I'm using some kind of walnut shell at the moment.
