i love POTN. i'm saddened that my 15-30 is 82mm oh well, with the money i saved buying it... ok, it was $228, i can buy a good UV for it, and possibly a CPL.

its a cheap precision .25x super fish eye adapter. i went cheap Hahahaha got it for $60

Are you using a remote & mirror lock up for these?

no I used a the timer and live view , I still can't get them sharp off the camera
this I sharpened in DPP and it looks over sharpened. I should e-mail you a raw and see what you could do with it. My post
processing skills suck. I shot it off a tripod and it is cropped about 50% or so. At 560mm I could actually see motion from it rising.

Edit: getting correct exsposure is really hard, the sharpest shots seem to be before it gets dark.
The full crop is really soft, maybe I am asking too much.

I did a quick sharpen on this one.


Each lens is different, you might have to play around with the aperture to find the sweet spot for the lens. But at that distance through the atmosphere and its the MOON LOL you might be asking a bit too much of the lens.

That looks better. I was shooting over the columbia river so I may have been getting some
heat/ fog from that too. There are a lot of variables.

don't remember exif, adding sig killed it.

maaan. i need to start taking pictures again. i havent touched my camera in almost a month
