only happens during the first 4-5 minutes after start up.
it stays on the third gear at speeds of 60-80mph with high but not harmful high revs. and then all of a sudden, click, not 100% smooth transition, it goes into fourth. overdrive is on all the time. tranny going out on me? Curious as well, what is TCC? Im going to wager torque control something....
But yeah, I have an auto (yea me!) and I used to have that problem as well. I just let my car get to op temp before driving, but if im in a rush I take OD off then wait till I need it. |

If your O/D light blinks on and off while driving, you should have read my how-to. It also covers checking the tranny trouble codes.

I meant converter instead of control...well close enough I guess. I think the problem hes having is running o/d when its "cold".

I am just curious because I remember I wouldn't have this problem when I first bought the celi 2 years back. but yea, it kicks into 4th gear when its running for awhile. just during start up. -------------------- |

change your coolant and install a new thermostat, that should help your issue.

Im not saying that its hard, the only part that sucked was the housing. Even then it didnt suck that bad, just located in a bad spot.

Ive got quite a few tools, but dont have any swivel sockets (yet). All the good stuff is at the shop, which I no longer have access to....probly for a very very long time.
