Pretty nice man!
My only question, how do you control the climate now? the lack of the cc unity make the whole dash look very futuristic though, very cool. If i could suggest a slot load optical drive instead of the pop out one, like http://store.mp3car.com/ProductDetails.asp...uctCode=OPT-002 that, for a cleaner look. Keep up the good work! QUOTE (14:19:21) Daniel: That was a JDM hole in the side of the box too. There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. QUOTE Ferdi says (11:29) No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings. |

Cool, I also have a CarPC. Its set up quite a bit differently, and still isnt totally done. Not bad, though.
I would suggest having it hibernate instead of shut down w/ your ignition. Saves a LOT of time for start up/down. My CarPC starts in about 15-30 seconds, and shuts down in about 5-10 sec. -------------------- QUOTE "And, as always, your friendship, help, and dedication to the advancement of Texas Celica dominance is GREATLY appreciated. I moved the button for the climate control inside the armrest (left a space in there to still be able to store stuff) and the knob itself is mounted on the underdash at one of the blank panels next to the fuses -------------------- |

Both installs look good. Is that Alcantara, Kamakaze? I also like your play buttons Stephen Lee, are they from a keyboard?
I'm mid-install at the moment. Got some wiring and fabricating to do to get it in the car again and then I'll be adding some secret projects to control the fans (It's an ST with no air con) http://www.digital-car.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=10373 |
