i bought the engine rebuild gasket kit and im missing this O-ring anyone ever run into that before?

If you bought a factory overhaul gasket kit that's normal not to come with it. You can buy the oring by itself, also the the oil pump seal is also available.

Very nice Smaay! Is the valve cover and block powder coated?
Did you end up going with MCS for internals?

for budget reasons and since i already ordered the parts, im just refreshing the 5S-FE. stock rods, stock pistons, new bearings and rings and rod bolts. my plan in the future once i get another car to drive, will be a built 5S-FE with an E153 tranny swap.

the block i just painted with high temp engine paint. the valve cover is powdercoated a wrinkle red. it looks so sexy in person. its the same powder coating i did on my all-trac

how many cars do you need? lol.

Anyway, good luck with the 5sfte, looks good so far.

CT26? you got me all excited with the pictures of that other turbo. I wanna see that on the 5s!

my all-trac is up and runnning now, but it needs serious tuning. that turbo i have on it is super laggy right now. im hoping some tuning will fix that.

got the right injectors in.

Smaay, your alltrac is sweet looking! How much power are you pushing with all that stuff? It's nice to see you doing a 5sfte also, going great so far.

got any pics of the block before the hone?

when i try to post pictures the same way as i always do, the site times out. sorry i dont have any pics of the cylinders before i honed them but it looked pretty good. it didnt have any marks like yours did.

i should be up and running this weekend. i wired in the AEM FIC into my patch harness.

the oil lines look great! but I'm wondering why you didn't just go with the OEM 3sgte lines?

i didnt have a 3S-GTE oil pan at the time and my fabricator couldnt get off his ass to check measurements to put a bung in the same place at the 3S-GTE.

haha thats what i always see with our cars! the tech that is working on it is alway either too lazy or f's things up!
but over all man the motor looks very good! gratz
